Big Models, Small Bases: Fitting the square peg into a triangle hole

Today I take a bunch of models I printed for 40k, and make them into my band of Black Orcs for Warhammer The Old World. After some math and a lot of drawing/redrawing, I've come up with a way to fit these larger models onto smaller bases that SHOULD work around the way casualties are removed.
It does lock me into one load out and makes it a little harder to have various sizes of units, but it lets me get these models on the table and there are zero complaints about that!

Nurgle Orks, best of both worlds! I've used the old boys kit with plague bearer heads for my forsaken models, Ill have to get a video up once they're painted Awesome! Building toward anything or just picking up models as you go?
Very cool army! The mix of sculpts and parts look great. I’m a hobbyist based in New Zealand trying to get into Mordheim after lurking in the scene for a long time. Currently I’ve been making my own minis for Bangarang, a game from BillMakingStuff. Outside of that I’m trying to start out as an illustrator, doing death metal / fantasy art which is all a bit grim dark. Glad to have come across your channel and look forward to following along.

Mate, Kia Ora ! Was looking through my pile of shame for some stormcast silver before heading off to my local hobby shop .Found an unopened package with another witch hunters band and a Mordheim roadhouse/ tavern I had totally forgotten about .And 100+ Citadel paints all unopened or still in good nick. Did you enjoy Billmakingstuffs robot making challenge?

@@Wardads1 Kia Ora bro! Woah what a score! I wish someone would hide stuff like that around my place haha. Yeah I really enjoyed Bill’s Big Bot Bash. I’ve been away for the past couple months so I haven’t been able to do any bot building but hopefully I can get back to it soon.

No idea how I missed this comment! I saw some of your art on Instagram, LOVE the Goblin piece. I'm in a Mordheim campaign at the moment but they play at times that are hard for me to make. I have been working on a table for the game though I'm hoping to have a bigger update for soon. I kept seeing bangarang but I've been on my fantasy kick recently. Been wanting to check it out though, BillMakes(cool)stuff after all

@@Bobas_Bookstore No worries! Thank you so much, appreciate you saying that. It’s tricky finding groups who play on similar schedule. Excited to see the updates when they’re ready. I get the fantasy kick, I’ve gone off a lot of sci-fi stuff lately in favor of more sword and sorcery worlds. The accessibility of Bangarang got me interested, you build your bots from literal junk, scrap and beads and then you can play, you dont need to spend money on anything but some glue and charity shop junk.
