Yo called that cannonball would be able to knock cards into profs lane, good way to hit that specific synergy AND kinda brings some of the other moves cards in line with jeff which is pretty cool. Hela was a non-whale queen so that change sucks. Can NOT belive white widow avoided a change that is a great card EVERYWHERE!!

White widow doesn’t need a change she’s just like nebula. You choose do i want to play in here to counter this everyone has control over how to deal with nebula and white widow this is fair.

I guess the only decks that would want to play professor x now is if you're actually a move deck to lock down other players that don't have move cards so you're guaranteed to win

Newbie here, CL 2300, and Hela is the only deck that allows me to compete against players with complete or near complete collection when I am in infinite or the infinite conquest. So, I agree with your assessment of Hela. Now Hela decks needs to slot in Luke Gage now. =)

I remember the blade change to targeted discard, Stegron feels the same.

Finally a fresh looking patch

As a move player that Prof X change is surprising to see. Playing Cloak on 5 is the optimal play and now it’s almost free. I did use to use Stegron as a tech disruption tool but looking back enchantress might’ve been better for the meta. Now it might not clear out a Mojo or kamar-taj. Will be interesting to see if it can beat the other 4 cost disruptions.

Most players lack board awareness, so they overlook the fact that on T6 a big boy is going to drop.

I think the better Hela nerf would've been that the card starts in your hand. The current nerf just hurts new players playing the deck without Red Hulk. Having her start in your hand plays into the Casino play style while maintaining the power of the card and also teaching new players clear retreat scenarios.

I'm confused why they specified that they buffed Captain America because of the Spectrum deck, but didn't bother considering that this change makes Cerebro-2 a lot worse. It's not like any other power buff, where it makes one Cerebro deck better and other worse, it basically doesn't work with any Cerebro deck now, because the numbers don't match

Talking about not being able to nerf Jeff, how much do you think Jeff got nerfed due to the Professor X change? I would think significantly

The only thing I hate about Stegron buff: There's only 1 animation being played now as it's always to the right.

My problem with 1-cost zoo is that Killmonger exists; even if the quality of 1-costs was higher, the strategy falls apart if people start including one (already pretty good) tech card

I feel like they should make Gilgamesh text say: ongoing; +1 power for each of your cards with increased power. If any cards go back to base power or enter red negative power he loses the power gained.

Gilgamid buff as expected. Prof x buff to remove the ravonna line as expected. Didnt expect move part. But card really hurt Phx F decks. We dont need CB nerf with profx change. Hela nerf may not be enough. She can still pop off. Im skeptical. I thought it would be 1 to each location or 1 to each other location. Still glad they hit her if they hit profX her counter. Ebony blade nerf why just because of Hela. EBlade still good but not needed. Red hulk still strong. CA needed the power back they made him good with ongoing bad anywhere else. Shanna buff still bad she always pulls bast or some bad crap. Stegron buff is odd. I guess better control. But on the far right it just 4/7.

They said CB was played succesfully in more than just X decks, time will tell and we had multiple undos over the year. Hela had two counters, X, but also decks that just have bigger numbers. This nerf didn't make her easier to beat with "normal" deck, but she will lose more often to linear decks, which should make her less popular overall.

It does effectively decimate Hela Tribunal which was the worst of both worlds. A -2 iron man unless Luke is now part of the mix .

So you mean to tell me that you believe prof x was supposed to be buffed by 1 power? The change wasn’t overkill, it was needed, but now that the cannonball strat has been dealt with, either side can win the prof lane with night crawler or nocturne

@@LoganDash Buffing him by 1 power is already heavily nerfing him by losing the Ravonna synergy. T4 Prof X was the real issue here.
