To answer the question, Limeliscious did the most insane Hunter dive I've ever seen in my lifetime.

What bums me out and baffels me the most is that I was really hoping for darktide to satisfy my L4D2 thirst with a new way of play and ip that I really love, but still I feel like something is missing. 20 hours in and still have no idea of map layouts and everything dissapears/blurs out behind layers of fine details.

Idk, for me that is not the case. I enjoy darktide much more than L4D2. I have 62 hours in L4d2 and 226 hours in darktide, so even my play time speaks for itself. Probably its also because i burnt out my will to pvp in mobas, so i enjoy strictly pve darktide more

Darktide really pops off when you play different classes with tons of different skill and weapon loadouts per class (completely changes your gameplay), also DTs atmosphere is incredible. L4D2 is great for its time and the PvP is amazing but it completely lacks class, skill and loadouts so at some point many people hit a brick wall with what they can experience in the game unless you start modding.

For me, it could be a difference in creative direction --- both have solid mechanical foundations, with a distinct focus on environmental details.

Of course the Left 4 Dead 2 stream happens when I'm at work . Well at least i get to watch the vod

It's a shame they couldnt get the dedi.server up and running properly, shouldve had someone look into how to do it way earlier. Source server has had quality community documentation for almost 20yrs, and L4D2 has had VS config mods since 2010 that allow for everything they wanted to do.
