David Weber There is this thing of being complacent and too “in the pocket”. It’s why Feefo brung up the J. Cole point. Yes, they can make amazing projects by themselves BUT after while it starts to become a formula and the weight it use to hit with before starts to weaken. In order to be good at anything you have to get out of your comfort zone and push boundaries. The key is finding that medium of how far out works for you and that’s where KRIT finding that other half aka his own madlib, Pete rock, Premiere, etc. comes into play

Nutcase Nate yeah it definitely wasn’t a bad album but I feel like the bar is so low right now that one person comes along and can really rap everyone acts like it’s a great album but to me it was average with a few great songs because of the features

It really wasn't a bad album, the bigger issue is, it's coming after "4eva Is a Mighty Long Time", which warps expectations a bit. I'm fine with him being outside his comfort zone and allowing others to produce him. Who knows, maybe he puts it all together the next album. I personally felt like more of the songs from the EP, should have been on the actual album though. Not sure who produced those tracks, but they were fire.

As a avid KRIT fan since, Foreva in a day Ep, live from the underground with tracks money on the floor, porch light, cool to be southern, my sub pt2. I felt this was underwhelmed its not on level where he's bored or he doesn't challenge himself tracks didn't hit me enough still a decent album everytime, Make it easy, learned from Texas, blue flame ballet, and Mississippi still have Krit At his best. In interview after 12 for 12 project Krit explains what direction he taking towards I admire him going for that commercial sound. Vince did edm on big fish, Kendrick wit TPAB More live jazz people will appreciate this 15 years from now. 7.5/10 I prefer forever mighty long time.
