very nice 👍
I purchase 3/4” western red cedar, then plane down to the desired thickness. Then, glue up the surfaced-planed wood. Both halves are equal, which aids as a centerline reference.
As always great craftsmanship! Enjoyed the video! HOME RUN!!!!!!!
The SPOKESHAVE is what I couldn’t think of the other night on the podcast lol…

Oh no.. we're you guys talkin bout me?? Hope it was good things! Spokeshave ftw.
Every time I watch one of your videos I learn something new... thank you!
All that from a block of wood! I would be tempted in the show piece of the video having the cut blocks of wood on the perspex stand's slowly morphing into the end products. The directional scales look amazing, I enjoyed every second of the video especially when we got the chance to meet your beautiful young family, tooooooooo cute for words. BIG THUMB'S UP 👍😷👍
Fantastic video as always! It's nice you let us get a glimpse into your process for building such quality lures.
Pieces of art! 👌😍

It's a Tung Oil sealer.
Just curious did you make the eye mold or make it?

I bought it from some guy in Europe who unfortunately no longer makes them. I've tried to order more molds. Guess I'll have to make my own.
Hey question about the tools u use and where can I find it

Where do you get that thick wire from?

My local welding supply store. On jointed baits I wouldn't recommend a marine grade hardened stainless steel which can be bought from McMaster-Carr.
Where do you sell your baits ?

Facebook group called "Fretthold Baits". I'm a small batch guy so there aren't sales very frequently but that's where you'll find them.
