Good interview [although Kugan didn't get the chance to ask many questions!]. Can understand John's frustrations - to a point. I respect that they're fighting men [though they're all pretty good at talking too!]. Point is that not every situation has to be a fight. Example not having a driver sent for Tyson. Surely a promoter provides this type of thing? As for the press, Tyson gets fair coverage in boxing circles, and is recognized as the true champion. If he chooses to speak on non boxing matters in a way that modern society doesn't consider to be politically correct, then he'll be criticized for it. And rightly so. If the things he gets stick for were spoken by Joshua, Joshua would be lambasted too. Background is irrelevant in this scenario. Fair play to Colin Hart for offering his view too. Hopefully Billy won't worry too much about the Sun - I don't imagine too many people read it these days.

Of course but not for the victim mentality reasons John Fury is making out. Tyson Fury was stripped by the IBF title for not defending it against their mandatory challenger and instead signing for a rematch with Klitschko, yet if Klitschko had beaten Fury then there probably wouldn't have been a rematch.

+abztractbeats did they rob him or was it Fury's camp who f-ed up by signing a contract with a rematch clause in for the Klitschko fight ? Fury was mandatory for wlad and didn't need to agree to a rematch clause to seal the deal, they had to fight anyway, they should have known they would get stripped of that belt and not signed a contract which stipulates a rematch and Fury could have then fought (and beat) Glaskov, who would have been his mandatory (i believe ?). Klitschko hardly threw a punch because Fury never allowed him to, a big part of boxing is to not fight to your opponents strengths, had Fury gone toe-2-toe with Klitschko he likely would have ended up like Klitchkos previous 20+ opponents, Fury didn't allow Klitschko to set himself to get his bombs off, imo he fought the perfect fight and did what he had to do to win the belts. This is why the rematch is so intriguing because Fury will have more confidence knowing he can beat Klitschko, but Klitschko has to come out more aggressive or it will just be a replay of the first fight, i think this one is going to be far better than fight 1.

+Roughcovers Fury probably signed up for the rematch because he thought Wlad was the only fighter in the Top 10 he had a chance of beating. Apart from Wlad who has Fury fought? He'll get his next big payday from the rematch then probably retire. He threatened that before the first fight if he lost it. If fury faced big punchers like Joshua, Wilder or Ortiz he'd get weighed in. Btw Glazkov was his mandatory and if he wins the rematch the WBA have said he HAS to face Ortiz otherwise get stripped again. Team Fury follow no rules and deserve everything they get. Fuck em!!
