Polka jest Polska!❤
I’m here with my 96 year old friend . We are enjoying this show very much . We are doing our own version of polka thank you for this great show ❤🎉
Polka music will live on forever. It's "Celebratory" music in my opinion and regardless of age if you bring your kids up right they will listen and toes a tapping just like us old farts. 😁🍻🎶🎵
I love this dance for the elderly
So what is it about Polka? I think it is like gospel music which congregate peoples from all over to enjoy peace, comoradry and fun with no noise, alchol or drunkness. All of the folks enjoyed their time but, I am sure there is no person who enjoyed it than Big Joe himself. Imagin sitting on the stage like an old time school teacher and enjoying himself when peoples get happy. Those good old times will never come.
Don't see any 17 years old dancing polka this is going to be gone soon forgotten

My dad was from Pennsylvania and danced a sort of galloping polka. I only danced with him a couple of times, but it was fun and also aerobic exercise!

I may not be Polish, but I grew up dancing with music by 2-3 row button accordions for 10-12 years. Didn't miss a beat. Sometimes on a dirt floor prepared for dancing. Enjoyed just as much as these people. Sometimes on a wooden floor prepared for dancing 💃, in the middle of nowhere. Had as much fun as these people are having. They had all kinds of fun things for sale, soda, chips, souvenirs, etc. No liquor of any kind. It would become a family 👪 affair. We wouldn't go home very happy and satisfied. A County Sheriff would show up once in awhile to see if everyone was Civil. No problem even with 150-200 people. We enjoyed it a lot. Very civil community based.

Where it shows "wouldn't go home very happy" should read "would go home very happy"......etc.

I met a Czech guy who he and his wife would come visit my wife and me every weekend and my wife and I would visit them every other weekend. Anyway, he told me the same thing as you have. He said he didn't know the difference. He spoke some of of each language. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and I retired from the U. S. Army with 27.5 years of service. He served 21. It was fun & educational & hard experience. But our being country boys we knew how to survive. Ha! Ha! %. That was when Czech & Slovakia was still one country.

@@cleocasarez5475 On the origin of polka, it isn't certain. There are theories of the specific origins, but ultimately there are different forms and styles of polka and ultimately it made it's way to touch every European identity. It's certainly Alpine, Germanic, Celtic, Slavic, anglo Saxons, and other peoples all have their polkas. Its also a fundamental cornerstone of western civilization. Polka has connections to all European culture, Including American, Canadian, South African, Australian, and others. And it's also made it's way to Mexico through German immigrants to Texas in the mid 1800's.
SUPER ! BRAVO !!!

Who's the editor of this show. He cuts off the ending of the music way too soon. He needs a few lessons on a proper ending.

Hi Jesse, most of these shows were edited in the 2000's! I have noticed that occasionally a song was cut short, but for the most time, they play until the end.
