In my part of the country, it's called a water gate for your stream. There are a lot of online examples of constructing a water gate. It's not rocket science. As long as rains are not super exceptional with lots of debris floating into it, they work great. Some debris removal is expected when those exceptional rains hit. You definitely have hogs. Eradicate them before they take over and cause more damage; but I am sure you know that. Thanks.

Roasted, salted pecans; caramelized pecans. Living in Michigan as a child, we were Blessed to receive our "annual" pecan shipment from my Great Aunt Inez, from Andalusia, Alabama; after that machine shelled their smallest/sweetest pecans. Those pecans were like gold to us. Didn't know other children grew up eating other nuts in cakes, pies & cookies..LOL. Pecan Pues are my "birthday cakes".

Hey Dusty, Marissa, and Brooke. Dusty, I knew, as soon as I saw that damage, that you now have a hog problem. Can you shoot hogs in OK? Maybe after you get the bison moved. Or I guess you could trap them. I'm praying you will find a way to get rid of them without upsetting the bison. Big Joe is a fine looking animal. Love watching your videos. Ya'll have a good evening. Take care and stay safe.

  • @marthagaluszka8888

They trap them humanely, and a guy comes to pick them up and takes them to a "shooting range / ranch," where people pay to hunt them. I think you are allowed to shoot them on your own property, but most people don't want the meat anyway. They just want them GONE. Dusty's brother often posts videos of the trapping. Check out Arms Family.

Those nasty hogs, people are having problems with them all over in different states. I hope you can catch them soon before they really get bad. You definitely are going to have your hands full getting them all rotated, but you’ll get it done. The scenery is beautiful.
