Big Island Teen shares her culinary talent on the Food Network's Kids Baking Championship

We share with you an inspiring story of a talented 13-year-old from Kona who is making waves in the culinary world. Tasi Savage, an 8th grader at West Hawaiʻi Explorations Academy, is a contestant on the newest season of the Food Network's Kids Baking Championship. This talented teenager earned a coveted spot among 12 young bakers from across the country, all vying for the grand prize of $25,000. Tasi said she is proud to represent Hawaiʻi Island on a national stage and expressed gratitude for the opportunity. She won the first challenge of the season with a delicious chocolate cake with ricotta peanut butter filling and a vanilla buttercream frosting with toffee bits.
