Bay windows, the porches that got used. Lots of storage, built ins. But updated with 200 amp electric, new roof, new exterior paint and more @watever1965 !

I really love this home. I can imagine my wife and myself with my son and his wife livening in such a majestic old beautiful home.

Lot of house and big lot in handy area of town. Carve out the space you need, rent out the rest.

That is the perfect boarding house. I have lived in 3 boarding houses and I had fun in all of them. Wow. Amazing how many memories can flood your mind with just one topic! Having good memories is important!

That's one heck of a house! My grand parents had a large home in northeast Ohio. The living room was enormous, nearly half of the house. They would put the dining table and chairs in the living room and only heated the dining room and the eat- in kitchen. The large foyer and upstairs bedroom also were not heated. A single register in the dining room and another in the upstairs bathroom floor (gravity fed heat). It was kept closed off from the bedrooms. Could do the same with this home, if not divided into rental apartments. It's a shame original kitchen is no longer, bet it was nice too.

Original kitchens were often just a few cabinets and maybe a pantry though. That island gives you work space and could hold lots of bar stools for the modern gotta run, overbooked population.

Out dated happens and this video just shot, edited, uploaded yesterday so as fresh as you can get. Just sold 14 Kelleran ST and only a paved driveway between the two now. Big lots, less homes in this area of Houlton Maine. Used to be Ricker College!

Because Houlton Water Company has the cheapest juice around, I would add a couple heat pumps. Warm winter, cool summers and cheaper than oil hot water heat. Today, more than one energy source for heat helps you play the market for best deal. I like wood... just put in a Jotul F45 and whoa. Warm your bones kinda thermal heat happens... Maine is 91% wooded @Erin-Thor !

That is an amazing house. The price is ….. so affordable. Hickory kitchen cabinets? How often do you see that? Ground level good to go. You could maybe reconfigure the second level to rent out. From there fix up the third floor. Perfect retirement income property and home.

still lots of work to do; the door frame from the bath going to the basement looks off-line, crooked. It just appears that someone wanted to do alot of work and just got swamped with it. New insulation in the floors, drilled holes? I am assuming it was foam, and so many other boards just aren't secured. project home...if you want to boost it from 1910 to 2023...good luck.

Live in a 1913 Federal style home and they are rock solid, built to last and have your home is your castle comfort. Did you see the new foundation sections, new roof, new kitchen, 3.5 baths and one heck of a location? For $119,900. Hard to beat! Insulation in floor of attic rooms.
