Big Glider Gang
Ғылым және технология
The first coming together on a new flying site to test starting and landing of big gliders (by Radim Horky) with self launch systems and retractable gears by Dr. Martin Thoma (www.dr-martin-thoma.com/) in most variable conditions. Best thermal and slope soaring possibilities. We didn`t test, we tasted the new flying site. Many thanks to Klaus. Music by Georg Deuter and Lyle Mays

@@gprrobby I have recently completed putting together two radians I have flown in the past updating them with new electronics. Looking for a suitable soaring area here in Italy. A bit tougher to find such available areas in the flat Veneto.
Man that's cool!

Wow!
Love these beautiful BIG birds. Is there any reason why I don't see more FPV gliders? It just seems like a perfect match.
@BruceHoult
3 жыл бұрын
Some of these beautiful gliders probably cost as much as a real used PW5 if not Ka6 or Libelle. You could do real FPV. The weird thing is I've persuaded model fliers to come up with me in a real DG1000 and they have basically zero interest in it. Less than zero.
Wunderschön! Wo fliegt ihr da? Liebe Grüße Wolfgang
Very nice video I have a question is there a manufacturer making a rc model of the Schleicher ASW-12 ? Thanks
@gprrobby
5 жыл бұрын
Thank you Brian. All ASW12, that I have seen in net are by personal conception.
Did you guys ever thought about adding flight controllers to your system? I mean it's sweet for the Blackbox data already. 30 bucks maybe worth the knowledge
👍🏻
First and third music selections great. Second tune..um...not so much. Nice camera work.
Very nice video. Gostaria de saber qual modelo/ fabricante do radio controle TX???
@gprrobby

Radio control by Futaba FX 40, the ARCUS 1:2,5 by Radim Horky

Where exactly is the flying site?
I can't figure out how your power pods work. Do they fold inside or drop off?
@peterzingler6221
5 жыл бұрын
On most glider they fold in the fuselage like the gear does

They are take off by fan motor but i don't see it when landing. why ?
@fynnblank5615
5 жыл бұрын
Because they dont need it to fly or to land. Only for takeoff a Motor (or a winch) ist needed, or to climb if there is no thermal Lift.
