I am a Navy EOD tech. Individuals or platoons often open purchase unissued gear to include the 6094. I.E. I was issued a CIRAS carrier but purchased a TAG Havoc and used it instead w/ a Rhodesian vest.

Mostly photos and surprisingly television! There is a show on G4 called "Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan" which follows Navy EOD operators, check it out!

Yeah, they do. I saw pics and segments in the show "Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan" and they were wearing it. I don't know where your research came from, but sadly your wrong, they do! lol

Yeah...I've seen numerous photos of them using it. I actually know someone at field who was in the Army infantry. He said he deployed with the Navy EODs and he said they use MBAVs, 6094s, and CIRAS vests. They do trust me. I buy replica gear because it's not crap (at least Flyye/Pantac) and because it's cheaper. For airsoft it's okay.
