Texan here, I've driven through a LOT of communities like that!

Since where I live in the US is more like Bucks County PA this is even flat and expansive for me! Love the crop calendar that fits the area and other custom stuff.

Great map tour mr P this is ideal for any large chicken or sheep farm like the cattle one mainly because of the nice big fields to get crops in on mass and keep up with the great work 👏👏👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You can add these textures to other maps if you’re on pc. I’m using them for a while now. Much better then Giants.

Fantastic Map!!! The Custom feeds are interesting, Sheep get 50% for Hay and 50% for Silage now which is a great touch, especially considering the Silo’s that are built in!

Love the grass on this map, it gets much taller then other maps I’ve played.

Wish we can get Texas Longhorn cattle in farm sim

I usually prefer maps that have snow and logging included, but this map looks as though it captures the pure grain and cow husbandry aspects the best. Im thinking i will have 2 saves going forward. This map looks too good to pass up for some niche aspects. Great map tour as usualy Mrsealyp!!!

I just drove through Texas 2 days ago, in addition to taking FOREVER, I thought it would be neat to have a Texas map, and today boom! Happy times. 🎉

I like the maps with odd shaped fields because it’s like New England but there’s something about getting a 9RX with bourgault equipment that’s just really satisfying

N the past b4 firetruck came out I just drove a tellahandiler around and got them.

I guess Giants hasn't been through the northwestern panhandle. Massive fields. They have miles of acres.

So much easement around arable fields; it's vulgar (by highbrow standards), and I love it! 😂🎉❤

Great video! Looks like Texas too! I don't think it's a good idea to mow oats for silage, the price for oats are more profitable to sell than to use for food. I hope that someone would bring back the "Green mowing mod" from FS 19. I know that with Maze plus you can mow crops for silage but if you don't want to fool with all that goes into maze plus we should have the mod to do that.

I know this is based on Texas, but it sure looks a lot like where I live in Indiana as well! Always happy to see a big square American map

This map is all about feel. This IS America. It is deceptively simple looking, but you can tell a lot of effort has gone into this. If I wanted to compare US midwest farming to UK farming this would be the US example I would pick. This map just nails the feel.

@@GAVEUP1 lol, are you UK...mate? I have lived in 5 states now in the US and have been through most of the rest. Trust me, this is the mid-west. To say that not all areas in the US look like this is a bit obvious, just as all of the UK is not London. I mean, duh...But this map does capture the mid-west agriculture feel. If it has one downfall it is that the fields are very small compared to real life. IRL the entire 2x map would be a very small mid-west field.

@@GAVEUP1 Also...You are making the same mistake here that I initially did. At first I thought yeah, another flat map with rectangle fields slapped together in a few hours of heavy drinking on a friday night...Watch the video closely, you are wrong! There is a LOT of time and effort that went into this map. The detail is actually good for such a deceptively simple map. And that is just the appearance, never mind all the features that are added. This is not a hacked together map. If it is not your thing, great! I get that. But there was a lot of effort put into this.

This is what you get in the middle part of the US, from east tx up through Oklahoma, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas...Mostly flat, straight roads in grid pattern, square plots of land, little islands of trees...I mean, it's a game, it is a 2x map and there is only so much a modder can do. This represents the mid-west as closely as Calmsden, Court Farm, and Ballam Rd. represent their respective areas of the UK. That is my opinion, you are welcome to yours. I think you just have a personal problem with this map or the guy that created it. That is fine. People are allowed to make up their own minds on how good a map is or how realistically it captures the feeling of a certain area. I think anyone that has traveled through the mid-west of the US can relate to how this map makes them feel. You disagree. whatever...I too am too damn old to argue about something as dumb as that...

@@GAVEUP1 I'm not sure, I have read all your posts in this thread. Anyway, just thought of something funny; I was born and raised in Florida. I can't tell you how many arguments I have had that Florida is not flat! I lived in a town called Clermont, back then the slogan was "gem of the hills". It was a rolling landscape with steep hills and even a mountain, sugarloaf mountain, though a joke by mountain standards, still...a mountain. There is actually a spine of ridges running through central Fl. It is anything but flat. I am not arguing that with you, even the flattest of states has elevation changes. Of course this map is not a picture of everywhere in the US, that was never my claim. Anyway, until next time. You have a good one too, mate. 😁

The harvester will leave tracks in stubble with swaths on.

on console anyway (ps5). you never had to stop a rogue worker in the middle of your own crop; with crop destruction turned on??? then you have to drive the machine and the worker is nowhere to be seen as you damage your own livelihood.. all 'cos of the worker..

the little farms u was talking about u can not sell the buildings

Do the silos at the feed lot accept bales?!

FYI, the custom grass looks really good, but be careful because it has crop destruction. Found that out the hard way! 🤦‍♂️

Anyone else having an issue with the animation for the materials not showing up correct when harvested? It shows up as grey squares with numbers in all of my trailers and the combine.

Hi bud, I’ve been playing this map for a few days now, have pulled several harvests in and not had that issue at all… it kinda sucks but I guess it depends how much progress you’ve made to then walk away from - if you have no choice but to reset and start again, don’t forget you can add the ‘Government Subsidy’ Mod for a CashBoost, at least that way you can kinda figure out how much your File is currently worth and just allow a budget transfer if you don’t wanna add extra cash…. Just incase you don’t know, the Gov Sub item will be under the ‘Generator’ tab in the Productions section of the Construction Menu Hope you don’t lose much work!

@robyork8630 I have managed to get it to work. It was one of the mods I use, but not sure which one yet. Slowly adding them back in until I figure which it is.

The cow can't do straw bedding for the cows i got a ton of straw bales i cant use them

The modder of this map needs to make it so that you can delete the road signs that are stuck all over the place.This map is made for big machines,and you can't drive up and down the narrow gravel roads without knocking them all over the place.Aside from that one extremely annoying detail,this is a great map.

I like that map but the Cows feeding logic is broken. I am an organic farmer. I only feed hay to my cows; no TMR. When I do that on that map, my cows health remains at 0% and the productivity stays at 0% as well. It's a shame. I would love to play that map but it is unplayable for me.

Anyone know if workers navigate the roads ?
