MCU fans are generally kept well fed with figures due to Marvel being a factory for content so it's fair to have 1 year off and let the comic figure collectors have their day in the sun. Plus the comic figures coming out this year are fucking excellent!

I've put it off too long and now I need to get a Hulk to go with this Hulkbuster.

I'm feeling $55-$65. They still need to reveal the big $70+ item for this line...

@@snoopy4749 the colours and presence are better on the select but the accessories and articulation are def better here (just from what i can see from the teaser pics) i love my select hulkbuster and it being on the smaller side, it fits into my 6-inch display p easily

@@kwaziness Selects tend to have the edge on paint and accessories despite what they lack in articulation and pose-ability. This will definitely fill a nice gap for people like myself who don’t have the select. Although I imagine even people with the select will want this as well.

Dan said in an interview that they're going to try to resolve the Warbird issue, but he didn't say how or when.

This looks promising. My Toybiz one already had paint degradation and the Marvel Diamond Select did not have much articulation and missng the head gimmick.

Marvel legends has been doing really well this year I do think they really need to make a Thor wave so it’s easier for collectors to get a normal comic Thor

I was excited to find out they were making a new comic Hulkbuster, but I was hoping it would be the original one the Iron Man Armor Mk 13. This version was already done by Marvel Select and I feel like there's no way this new legends one can compare to it in any way. Also, I hope that this isn't too personal of a question but I was hoping that you could help me. You are clearly a man of culture. If you know, you know. If you don't, well, I share your tastes. I've heard you talk about the bare patas with the lady types and I couldn't agree more. But aside from rare moments like this where I'm putting myself out there to a fellow man of culture; it's something that I often worry about people discovering about me. In fact, it has killed a couple of my past relationships after I finally gathered the courage to share that knowledge with the girl I was with at the time. But when I see you openly and fearlessly speak about it, it's as mind boggling as it is inspirational. How do you do it? How did you reach the point where you owned it and weren't afraid who knew? No matter if you reply or not, I really want to thank you for giving me the strength to ask and not be too frightened to do so.

Looks great but i spot some missing paint allready. Hopefully they fix it for the actual release. I could be wrong but it looks like the little round sides on the abdomen are continuations from the lines on the hip area. Pretty sure, but they didn't paint it red. Not a huge deal cause it still looks fantastic just something that's going to bother me if it's not painted.

Love the look of this figure but as a in box collector in not the biggest fan of the chest being opened the way it is since itll look abit ugly in box

Your still images made me realize that they didn’t paint any of the gold pieces below the torso. So it looks like the chest, the arms and the shoulders have gold paint but the knees and the entire mid section is just a pale gold yellow plastic. Why tf can’t they just fully paint their figures? That looks so inconsistent. Why go through all the effort of sculpting and designing a huge, brand new figure and not even bother fully painting it. Wtf are these guys even thinking? They constantly have to pinch pennys

@@russtoyreviews5967 no. I get what you’re saying. Difference is that you are a single person trying to make decisions for a line you poured your heart and soul into. You have limited resources. Compared to hasbro, you could even say your depth of resources isn’t even a drop in the bucket compared to the resources they have. Hasbro has virtually unlimited resources, but they cap themselves to pinch pennies. They could’ve easily added the paint, but instead they chose not to so they could add a few fractions of percentages to their bottom margin. I don’t really care what their excuse is. They have all the resources in the world to do better but they choose not to.

@@TCC62Do they? For real, I don’t think it works like that. My second real job was working at McDonalds, and there were things at the store that they needed, things that needed to be fixed. The manager had to pinch pennies and it all made no sense to me because I know McDonalds is a huge business with “unlimited resources”. I still don’t have this figured out, but I get the feeling the suits allocate only so much for each brand. Remember, people that have money, have money because they’re cheap. It comes down to this stupid system in our country where companies have to prove they make more money every Quarter. The goal isn’t quality, or actual sales numbers, it’s just how well did they profit. Profit is not all that matters. We need some kind of overhaul change in this Capitalist system in its entirety. It sucks. It encourages businesses to do stupid things and things that hurt consumers because profit matters most.

@@ShartimusPrime ehhh I disagree with need to change the whole capitalist model we have. Name a better functioning economic model out there that works for a country this size. Your point about McDonald’s is a great example of a company focusing so much on profit and their end product suffering for it. It depends on who your target audience is though. If you like McDonald’s and disregard their terrible quality for its cheapness, then the company is doing exactly what you expect as a customer. They’re making money for their investors and they’re satisfying the expectations of their customers. You wouldn’t go to in&out or any quality burger joint and expect / be satisfied with a McDonald’s quality burger. In & out does what it’s supposed to and so does McDonald’s. They satisfy their target audience AND they still make money for their investors. Hasbro and the legends team specifically gives the impression that they’re all about the collector but then they constantly give us half assed products. Why doesn’t Marvel Select, Jada Toys, NECA, and Action Force have the same quality issues that marvel legends has? Licensing fees? Bullshit. Marvel select gives us a bigger, better painted, better accessories product for a similar price and they also have the marvel license fee to account for. This is strictly a hasbro / marvel legends team problem. Not a capitalism issue. It’s not even an industry issue cuz I just named several companies that do so much better by the collector and still make money. Even Mattel, hasbros biggest competitor and also a publicly traded company is giving the collector a higher quality product at a similar price.

I don't have an answer to the new economic system, it's a fantasy to see something else more than me really knowing what exactly from where we should replace it with. But I think if you want to look at the differences between Hasbro and all the other companies you mentioned, we might find an answer there. What's different about Hasbro aside from the short-cuts we discussed? Way more quantity. Far beyond Valaverse, Jada, NECA. or any other of the companies you listed. How many SF figures did Jada put out,. like 3? Select put out how many Marvel figures? Like 3? Hasbro's pumping out around 75 a year if I guessitmate correctly. So I see Hasbro as putting themselves out there like a McDonalds and not like an In n Out where it focuses on quality over quantity. But hey, I do see starting to make the change, and if it's less bullshit McDonalds cheap figures for better In N Out burgers at lower quantity, I'm all for it!
