Julie, I love how you appreciate the objects that have a story. Someone that loves old scissors! that's why I enjoy watching your videos.
Keep on doing what you’re doing Julie. You buy things that make you happy. Someone who thinks only about dollar signs could Probably not understand the concept. You do you. Because we all like you just the way you are

OMG Julie so many great vintage/antique finds you hit the jackpot at that sale. Have a blessed day! 👍😊
I just watched a video of yours about spindles. I am 65 years old and when I was 35 I saw a Jenny Lynn baby bed on the side of the road for junk with beautiful spindles. I pulled over to put it in my trunk and my older children literally pulled me back into the car with laughter and discussed. "Mom stop getting this junk", "You need help Mom!", but to this day I think about those beautiful spindles going to the dump. Julie.... your young inspiration and respect for thrifty items have encouraged me to go back to my long-lost decorating ideas. o
I am a sometimes quilter and I would never let one of mine go for 50 bucks. Piecing it together is a job in itself let along the hand quilting it. You got those beautiful quilts for a great price.
I don't think I would part with the quilts. The color combination of the three is just beautiful. Displayed together in a cabinet is the perfect way to enjoy them. They are so warm that on a chilly night we bundle up in them because they are so soft and cozy. Enjoy!
The funny little chair with the 3 quilts stacked on top would be perfection. You could keep it for yourself for a while and sell it when you are tired of it.
Julie, You are so stinkin’ cute. I love your enthusiasm for all things old and aged. Every time I watch you, I want to go to a thrift store. Thank you for always sharing your hauls with us!
*The LONG GOLD RECTANGULAR MIRROR was BY FAR my FAVORITE in this haul, Julie❣ I believe the 3pc rustic wooden pieces with the small holes drilled into the tops are rustic fence posts (like split rail) that were carved and sanded into candle holders...how "Julie" are those⁉️* *I •L🤎VED• the vanity chair❣ It would also be lovely used as a plant stand, with a plant inside of a big ol' CROCK on top of it and one of those old-fashioned woven picnic baskets with the thin wooden lids on top - like the green and brown or the all brown ones you thrifted - tucked under the legs. Those picnic baskets are perfect for storage - and since it's UNDER the chair, it's still a small footprint that doesn't take up much floor space. Make some cookies 🍪 with Wryn Lucille - now you have the perfectly-sized rolling pins for her small hands. Keep one in the kitchen for actual food use, and let her keep the other one as a toy in her play kitchen (if she has a play kitchen 🤔). The Sun Bonnet Sue pattern quilt was to DIE for...the 3 you bought were lovely and such a good price. 🥰 The mandolins were for shredding cabbage for making sauerkraut - who doesn't love kitchen utensils like those⁉️😊 All of the crockery you found is lovely...the low, flat bowl with the straight sides is a pet bowl to be used for food and/or water. L💙VED the pitcher with the blue stripes. None of the crockery was particularly old or actually vintage, but that doesn't matter, because all of the pieces you bought were beautiful, and in a vintage STYLE, just the same. WOW‼️ You sure found a good quantity of stylish 📚 books to display this time! And that COAL HUD was GORGEOUS. Can you imagine using that bucket to haul your coal upstairs from the basement after it was delivered to your home down the coal chute - and then using the bucket later to haul away the ashes⁉️ My Mom has lots of good stories about that from when she was a kid. 😉*
So hard to pick a favorite! But, I would have to say those little brass picture frames! Amazing!
You can color copy the fronts of the books that are hard to part with, then, you and the future buyer can both have the look. Canterbury Cottages’s lovely Host does these things-
Those quilts are amazing! Post on facebook to find someone who can rebind the edges for you to replace the torn or chewed edges and they'll be like new. Don't part with them, they're handmade treasures and whoever made them had fabulous colour sense! They'll look gorgeous in your new home! Great finds!
It’s almost impossible to make a quality American quilt for less than $50 so American quilts and quilt making kind of fell out of favor when we had such a huge influx of cheap Chinese quilts in the early 90s. I have numerous quilt tops that I would like to have quilted (my hands are getting bad) but to have one quilted runs about $450, that does not include the batting and the backing. Your antique quilts are a find. Hand made Julie, no matter how many are made out of the same style they are actually one of a kind. You really missed out when you didn’t buy the Sue Bonnet Sue quilt For $50. Overall a great hall! You just amaze me. My style is not your style however I watch your channel just because I find you an interesting little character! Lol “so cute”! Oh yes, any brass that says England is more valuable. If you’re going to start selling you need to acquaint yourself with some antique prices.
You inspire me, the way you find beauty of what Is actually trash!! You have made me look at old stuff with different eyes. 👍
Sorry forgot to say what I loved most. That blue chippy stool for Wrens room has to be my favorite thing. Absolutely love that. Blues my jam, chippy especially!
Hi, Julie! Those wicker pieces you got are for paper plates when you’re eating outside. We used those all the time when I was a kid. I love your idea of using them for texture in displays! A second life! ❤️
Sorry my note left before I was finished. I wanted to say those homemade quilts have so much time and love that went into them. any baskets or copper you buy are great. Anything you buy is special and I love them all. 🌼🌸🌺🌻
I think those wood bottle shaped items might have been for a ring toss game for kids. You put a colored stick in hole, then threw wooden rings at them. I would use them for fall candle holders, you could wind honeysuckle flowery vines around them, with golden beeswax or cranberry red candles in center holes.
Julie, thank you, so much, for helping Bri!!
I love the joy in your voice. Thank you!
Great finds, Julie!! Love it all! And yes, people on Facebook are the rudest! Don’t take it to heart. We appreciate you! 😊
Get what makes you happy! I love the cat and bunny.
Oh my! I can't pick a favorite! I felt like I was watching myself falling in "vintage & primitive" love with everything! So much fun watching your hauls!!! Thank you for sharing the joy!! 😁
I am in Love with the 80s Little Ducks, so I Iiked your little Crock with the little ducks 👍
The quilts are beautiful, you shouldn’t have a problem selling them. Love your hauls.
You absolutely SCORED with those quilts!!!!
Before removing the pages of that automotive book, check the value. Your finds are so awesome! The little rolling pins would be nice on a tiered tray. The quilts and old books are so wonderful!
OHHHHHHH my stinkin gosh my mouth was on the ground on each piece you found!!!!!!!!!!!!!amazing finds
Hi Julie, I found your channel last week, and have been binge watching ever since, you are so inspiring, love your ideas and how natural and honest you are, very refreshing, love it.xxx
The quilts are fabulous and hand stitched. They are priceless.
The antique quilts were beautiful! New hand made quilts are so expensive (cost $500- $1000). You got a steel! 🌺🌸🌺 Chelli
I love your videos and everything you get ,please don’t stop showing us the goods .
I love how you get excited with your purchases, I too am a person who buys what I love when thrifting!
Nice rusty crusty stuff your favs , yu don 't pretend to be something your not, very honest to yourself , I admire you would pick up the rusty scissors and spool of thread while walking by the $300 antique,
love the bunny and the cat, nice tea pot. Those quilts are really nice and hand quilted. The binding is an easy fix. Nice mirror.
I know some people like watching your shopping finds but, I watch your channel to see you make stuff or watch you decorate. So I hope you get back to making those videos.
Those automotive engineering books have my heart. I collect old engineering textbooks, so I’d buy them!! ❤️❤️
I suspect the little covered bowl with the hand drawn duck was originally for putting in a tub of soft margarine. SO many cute things!
The mirror you found is absolutely beautiful. It’s such an unique size.
Tiny rolling pins are great for kid's playing with playdough!
I love the little rolling pins and I would drill a hole at one end and add a red ribbon and use them for a Christmas tree ornament. I am collecting old metal cookie cutters for ornaments too. The Christmas tree could even be in the kitchen. Xox, Bonnie
I am loving the books and two small metal frames, but I’m jealous of the whole haul. I love your style!
Love the sleeping bunny and the old books. Fun video! Thanks
Your quilt purchases . . a friend commissioned me to take a four generation quilt and resize to a baby's quilt given to a cousin at her baby shower. Never created a quilt so with minor repairs by hand stitching . . .what a heirloom piece............
I love your old soul and how you give items new life.
You have your Niche and I'm the same way....If I'm not passionate or have a use for something, I don't even stop to look. Or I admire it and move on. I love your videos.
Those quilts are amazing! If they are pieced and not a solid piece of fabric then you scored big. They also looked hand quilted. Wow, I wish I would have been in on that sale. Tons of great things.
Wow! One of my favorite hauls! Can't pick a favorite, love it all!! You have such a good eye for unique items.
I believe those woven "baskets" are really paper plate holder that you would use at a barbecue - popular in the 70's I think
Julia, my dear, those quilts you have, some may be hand quilted and if not that is a buy. When you think of the, love they are worth in the hundreds. I have ha ND quilted since I was 9 yrs old an I am 85 now and getting ready to do a chicken quilt. I also teach all by hand. All the items you bought at that sale I have. You amaze me. Keep up the good work, as you are bringing me back in time. I would love to be in touch as I have lots of ans to your finds. I really have good ideas also to send you. You are a joy to behold. 8
I love it when you take us along when you thrift and shop here on KZread. That’s my favorite videos along with your hauls. Love everything you found. ❤️
I totally loved it all but I think my favorites were the books. They were just gorgeous! Thank you again for sharing!
Oh, forgot the book ends - these horses are great !
Love the ceramic bunny laying down! I use to sell a lot of them through Home Interiors and Gifts!
The 3 wooden things that you said your husband liked were used as wedges I cant remember where I'm thinking around boat docks large shipping docks I'll research and see for you I love your channel love and hugs coming your way Susie
Great haul. Make sure when you buy old books to always research them. Books can be worth thousands of dollars. Do that before you pull pages, paint or whatever!
My favorite piece is the one with the metal basket and it has six milk jugs in it. I love the idea of just sitting it out with little sprigs of flowers like you suggested. Thank you
That gold mirror was typically used above a dining room sideboard. My husband’s grandmother had one in her beautiful traditional home. You found some great buys

Correct, the mirror was used in a dining room above a sideboard. When I was little three of our neighbors were widows, I loved bring invited to come into their homes. My eyes took in as much as possible. I loved furniture even back then.. I guess I was meant to become a designer. Love your cannel
Oh Julie girl, you are definitely an old soul. Beautiful haul! So good to see someone who really appreciates the age of time and use and love of these items.
I am a quilter! Those are amazing treasures that you found. All hand quilted and I would guess 40’s maybe? Search and see if they are signed at all.
Love your haul videos because I love the stuff you find. Those old books are fantastic!
I love the Sunbonnet sue
❤LOVE LOVE LOVE the quilts! ❤ That quilt that had the little girls with the big hats is called "The Sun Bonnet Sue" pattern. Thanks for sharing. Great haul too😘
My favorite book I have EVER thrifted was ‘Old Man Adam and His Chillin’! It is amazing! It was told by a white man raised by black slaves and is basically his own rendition of the Bible and it is a HOOT! Old books will always win my heart. You did such an amazing job finding treasures!😱❤️
I LOVE the two small gold ornate frames!!
Julie I loved the frames and the mirror the best. You already know how we feel about that bunny. Why were you trying to give us a heart attack putting things that we thought would fall of that chair. 😂🤣😂🤣 Shopping is so fun. Wish I had a partner that loved to do all the hard work and I could just shop and do the fun stuff. But like you. I better get to work. Thanks for sharing.
I love the bunny and kitty shelf sitters!
Each persons things of value are an individual thing it doesn’t make your wrong . Keep doing you because personally I love it love seeing the transformations of the treasures 😊
Always enjoy your hauls. That long gold mirror was my favorite. You might want to check on books to be sure they’re not rare. Can’t get enough of crock stuff and wire things. And old books and cloches. And cement. And chippy........💕👍🏻🤓
Julie. You ARE AMAZING. I just saw up cycled by Bri is back and she gives the most thanks to you and your persistence with you tube. Only a true friend with a feisty attitude would do that and girl she’s lucky to have you on her team. I thank you too as I’m a subscriber to both your channels and have missed her. I can only hope that if I’m ever in dire straits I have a Julie Borne that has my back. :)
That little bowl with the lid with the duck on it is a sugar bowl from a dish pattern called Marmalade it was really popular in the the late 1980s through mid 1990s.
Sue had mad painting skills! That one stroke roses pitcher was gorgeous! The oval iris truly showed her realistic skills. LOVE!!!
I loved the entire haul. My weakness is old worn stools and unusual wood chairs so the ones you bought are just adorable! girl!
The quilt with the girl with bonnet is the pattern my grandmother use to make. She called it “the little Dutch girl”. I do not know if that’s the real name. She made many of those patterns that have been distributed through family. We all cherish those blankets.
I love the quilt you didn't buy, it was Sunbonnet Sue. Also the broom will look great in your laundry room. I have a collections of 25 which are displayed in my laundry room. Great items you found and glad you're leaving items as is and not destroying their patina and in original state. Great haul....
I am just like you I love what I love regardless of what it is worth. I love old rustic small things. ❤️
You have me on a rabbit kick. And to funny we have the same taste. And I also watching the ladies you collaborate with. Thank you for sharing.
Julie, girl!! $50 for a quilt is really reasonable here in Mid Michigan. Love your haul.
Wow! Lots of great stuff. My favorite was the small painted picture.
Hi Julie!!What a fantastic HAUL!!❤ The Quilts are my FAV!Bargain price too! Loved the Spool of Thread ...funny!😂 That would be ME!!Digging through stuff in Garage&Barn😘🤩 TFS!❤
I love the sleeping bunny. But I think my favorite items are the leather book and the metal ash bucket. We had an ash bin just like that growing up and Daddy still has it! I am so excited to see you renovation video!!!!!
I have a 20 year old cheese grater in my kitchen… I would like to get some older ones to display with it. It’s sentimental to me because for our first Christmas as a married couple my husband gave me a cheese grater for my present 😂 bless his heart he’s a horrible gift giver! I used it until last year when I bought a new one and realized how dull it was. We laugh about it all the time. (He said I had told him we needed one- im sure I told him so next time he went out to the store he would pick up one, not for a present idea 😉).
Hello from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺. Wow well done...the quilts with the girls with hats is called “ Sunbonnett Sue” & is still a popular design today 🌼🌼
Wonderful finds Julie!
Holy smokes, Julie. I don’t even know where to start. What an amazing haul. You hit the honey hole. You will have no problems reselling the quilts. Your favorite (mine too) quilt would look great with the oval painting done by the owner. The colors are similar. Other favorites were the gold toned rectangular mirror, the rounded picture frames ❤️….the adorable metal frames from England and the vintage books. Girl, you did good!

Yes! You need to get a little mentoring on recognizing higher quality current quilts or older pre-'60's quilts - that is the type that was really made out of clothes scraps and typically will bring a lot even damaged (make pillows or runners out of the pieces)
Girl I loved nearly everything you got that mirror would be beautiful over an antibiotic buffet and that chair was awesome I've never seen anything like it and I love the little cat look a cat and the little Bunny rabbit oh they're so adorable and that little sugar bowl I could put that up in my house I love it you take care and a lot more thrifting
Sunbonnet Sue quilt Those are wear on the binding!! Leave as is they are Historical pieces From a quilter❤️❤️❤️
Julie, The small pitcher with the two stripes is also Robinson Ransbottom Pottery from Roseville, Ohio.....the same company that made the pet dish!! This is from my neck of the woods. Love your videos...the DIY's, the decorating and the hauls and of course anything else you decide to post!!! Great video...you are a natural!
WOW so many great items💖 Handmade quilts always sell. I think I would have broke the bank at the one estate sale.
Omg, I can't believe everything you got and the prices were so low! The quilts are my favorite and just beautiful. I also love the mirror you're going to use in your dining room and the first gold frame you showed. Awesome finds!

Love it all, can’t wait to see how you style everything!
Loved those stools! Great haul, Julie!
So many great finds, especially the amazing frames! Also really enjoyed you talking about all of the colors for spring.
That gold frame with the rounded corners would be beautiful to have a mirror put in it..
Sugar bowl stoneware with the geese was from Mervyn's the name of the collection was marmalade. I started collecting the set in the late 1980's when I was 17 yrs old, I had the plates, silverware, canisters, placemats and curtains.... can you say "obsessed" I wanted every piece! This brought back so many memories WOW!! 🤭 Great finds though, love all the old books!
Love that haul Julie! You did great.
Love the little house! I'm on the lookout for frames these days so I love all the frames you got too.
Love the books and the knobs with the screws great haul
I love the frames & quilts ! What a great haul ! You are so Amazing !!!
