Yeah, my dad used to pick fights with my mom over the tiniest insignificant things. It's made me paranoid and some days I would sleep with a knife near my bed because I didn't know how crazy he'd get. Thankfully he's gotten better, but I'm still a people pleaser to try and avoid conflict

Honestly I kinda get how the messy part of cooking/baking can get to someone but that's not an argument you have while the cooking/baking is happening. You should help clean up and then maybe sit with why it bothers you so you can effectively communicate that to your partner. Like it could be something trivial like "it felt like as soon as I woke up I had shit to do and I just wish we communicated more before deciding to make something that makes a lot of mess." Or the negative feelings could dissipate entirely because you realized you were just hangry and you should be thankful someone made this wonderful meal from scratch Saying this as someone who is going to marry a wonderful baker. We have a dynamic where if one person cooks the other cleans (meaning I clean up most of the time). I have to admit the negative feels do come up occasionally but it's usually me not being reasonable/rational and it's all ok after sitting with it or asking for a break from cleaning

I can relate so much to Riley. My parents fight over the smallest things and it even gets verbally abusive at times. My mom has even defended me and my siblings from my dad being angry for a small thing. And they do the same laughing stuff. That's the thing- they're not taking, it's just that tumultuous. I’m very sorry that’s happening to you. Know that it has nothing to do with your worth has a human being. No matter what your irrationally angry father may say to you, in an insulting manner or a joke, you are a person with inherent human value. I say all this because my childhood and upbringing was generally filled with my parents disagreeing on key issues of concern related to my life. But I too fully relate to Riley and it’s awful that TLC is televising the sad and tragic sowing of the seeds of depression and self-hatred later in her life. Edit: Holy shit that child just solved that useless argument. It so deeply angers me that Liz brought Riley to be with Ed, he’s such a scum bag.

My "parents" are the same way... My mom has been through three marriages already yet always manages to find the most childish of man children. It's always getting angry over everything you do, but never helping or contributing to the household in any way. It's fcking sad.

Knowing that theyre not together makes me so annoyed for Ryliegh. Like most kids of single moms have a memory of one of their mom's unfortunate choice of a boyfriend, but we weren't supposedly moved across the country and showcased on national television the way Ryliegh is.

Ya know... if Ken is right and they've just agreed to fake date to make money on the show... that makes Lizz's daughter being put in the middle of their shit 100x worse, personally. And the "can i have a hug" THAT much creepier

They have breakfast pizza at some schools here in America! They're actually pretty good, it's just a flatbread with cheese and crumpled breakfast sausage on the top. My school had some kind of creamy white sauce on it too, I don't know if it was an Alfredo or a hollandaise.

I came here to say this. I used to work at a pizza place and while we didn't serve breakfast pizza, we would always make it for the stuff. It would be some kind of white sauce, eggs, either bacon sausage or Canadian bacon, and cheese. It was so good
