I love that Skip just seems to be looking elsewhere completely ignoring Chelsea's commands to sit or come. Like he's in la-la-land and not there. 😂😂😂

Obviously, both small and large dogs have their place. I’ve had good and not so good experiences with both. Overall, I prefer medium to larger dogs. They’re all cute and deserve all the love though. And Koda’s doe-like eyes when he’s responding to commands just melt my heart. He’s so sweet!

I LOVE HOW THERES JUST SO MUCH CHARACTER IN EVERY PET YOU GUYS HAVE

The thing I heard about small dogs vs. big dogs is how bad you think it is if they misbehave. It's much more threatening when the big dog doesn't listen to your commands than when the small cute lil' pupper misbehaves. You'd naturally put much more emphasis into training the big dog (although it still depends from dog to dog and from owner to owner).

I love Trevor’s sarcasm I cry laughing when he does it and when they laugh it’s contagious

What always makes me laugh is how most people get nervous around big dogs when honestly the smaller dogs (whether you're a stranger to them or not) always run or jump all over you haha. I find smaller dogs yappier but I still enjoy both sizes regardless 😂🙂

The only two times I’ve been bites by a dog, they were small dogs. One was my grandmother’s dog when I was little and the other was a coworker’s dog just recently (though that wasn’t really an aggressive bite and the behavior was corrected). Never been bitten by a large breed dog. I love all size dogs though. Also… shedding is all about the breed not so much the size.

Its funny when Cooper was jumping on Chels at the beginning and she was trying to not let coop jump on her😅😂

I love big dogs. Great to cuddle with also great having them laying on top of you when you’re not feeling well. My pup Roscoe who was a Golden Retriever would always lay on top of me while I was having a seizure. That’s one thing I’ll never forget about him.

I have 4 big dogs, all girls. 2 labradors, a cattle dog cross staffy and a Doberman. 🐶🐶🐶🐶❤️ Absolutely love Cooper’s personality, Skip’s spunk and Koda’s everything!

When Skip visits Aunt Cheles and Uncle Trev, he’s the star of Super Cooper Sunday. 😄

I have been watching for years but sometimes I just don’t realize how big Koda is until Chelsea lays down next to him! Koda’s head is like double Chelsea’s 😂

What a fantastic, fun episode! We have a German Shepherd and an Estrela Mountain Dog (Portugal's answer to the Great Pyrenees), who is my floofy full-body cuddle pillow. But as our third dog, we decided to go for a Beagle - smaller package than the big girls for reasons of cuddle-friendliness and some lap-dog capabilities, lol, but sturdy enough not to be squished by the big livestock guardian dog who, like Cooper, likes to lay down on things without looking first.

I grew up with both big dogs and small dogs. My last two dogs were golden retrievers. They were both cuddle bugs and forever puppies. They were the best dogs I ever had. So I have to say I’m pro big dogs.🐶❤️

You guys should use the bed stairs for Koda to get in the truck!😃 They are all sooo adorable 😍 💕 Bella too!

Can we talk about Skips eye lashes? WOW!!! They are beautiful!!

We have a smaller dog and we totally love him. He’s super smart and does a lot of tricks. Very cute, eager to obey and has a great personality, plus he’s good with my baby. However, I cannot seem to cure him of barking. Unfortunately, he fits the small dog yappy stereotype. 🤷🏼‍♀️ we really do appreciate the portability and affordability of small dogs, too. I would love love love a golden, but my husband is allergic. I think goldens are the best dogs.

You guy’s probably won’t read this since it’s been 3 months since the vid was uploaded but thought I’d still say what dogs my family has. When the vid was uploaded we still had our yellow lab (Sparkles) which we sadly had to put down after Christmas due to her not being able to get up for 2 days and not eating. Your guys’ videos have helped me find joy through this grieving process. So for that I thank you. Now for the other dogs that we currently have. Our biggest dog is a female pure breed Great Pyrenees (Lilly), a Jack Russell terrier (Rocky), and 2 Yorkshire Terriers (Male is named Cocoa and female is Cookie). I love y’all’s videos and I hope this year I can send you guys something in the PO Box. Thank you guys for all the joy and laughs.❤️

I love your videos and the addition of Skip. We have 2 toy poodles, 1 mini poodle, a standard poodle. My husband's service dog is standard poodle/German Shepherd. Also a staffie girl. We are getting our moyen (medium) poodle 10/22. We also think ALL dogs are perfect!

I love all dogs too but when it comes to a big breed, there's just more of the dog to love & more of the dog to be loved by, hands and paws down. My Mastiff/Pitbull mixes Hercules & Xena can attest to this decree.

I’ve been binge watching you guys and cooper is just like my yellow lab Archie! Archie loves to swim in the lake and jump off the dock just like him! Nothing makes him happier than jumping off the dock and swimming!

My family has a Havanese too! Definitely great as no-shedders!

I have to say that quite a few small dogs seem to have “small man syndrome”. But lots of them are super cute too!

They have that "syndrome" because owners don't enforce rules on their small dogs like they do with big dogs.

We have a great pyrenees, very similar in personality to Koda - we are definitely on team giant dog!!

The training thing really depends on breed, how much you train and how you train. I've worked with a large range of breeds from chihuahua to MAS to Tervuren shepherd and in all those breeds I had great workers that would react in a second and ones that needed a little coaxing. (currently have a MAS and a chihuahua and work my grandparent's chihuahua for short bits if he wants it) Just an example of small breeds alone; I work with a chihuahua who is incredibly smart and knows more commands than most large dogs. He'll react often before I fully finish the command and he's in the top of classes in 3 dog sport disciplines, including agility. Than on the other end of the spectrum is another chihuahua I've worked. Also incredibly smart and has gotten to the highest class in obedience, but he'll only work when he wants to. There are days that as soon as I get him off leash at training that he runs straight to the cantina and refuses to come back, other days he'll work for a good reward (but slow to react, clearly not into it) and then there are days that he's on his a game. Same goes for larger breed. Some work great, others need coaxing and others just aren't into it. I mean it's the same with humans, so who can blame them. (just as a little extra info; if a dog does not want to work in a class a specific day, I don't force them ever. It has to be fun for both me and the dog. As long as a dog is well behaved or shows progress, I don't care if they miss a class or two or even a month or more. It's something I do to bond and though things like certifications are stressful because I know what the dogs I work with are capable of, I don't fret if they score low or if they are not having it. There's always another chance and if they indicate they don't want to continue in a discipline we stop)

I have a chihuahua who is trained as my service dog and she is amazing at commands, the only one she cannot do with silent commands is sit and that is because she is a bit of a snob over where she sits(she wont sit on tile floors but she will stand between my legs). My other dog is so dumb that he can't figure out that you only need to push on the doggy door to get it open and needs you to show him each time that yes it does open. Funny enough the only command he knows is sit and does it silently.

Big Dogs!!! We have a 90lb German Shepherd. They give the best hugs! He is a huge "dolup of joy" on the couch...in my chair...taking up the entire kitchen floor. 😄 We would like to get him a Great Pyrenees or a Newpfypoo brother.

I have a Maltese (small dog). He doesn’t shed at all, but the groomer bill is $70 every 6 weeks. He’s my 1st small dog and his vet bills have been a lot more expensive than any larger dog I’ve had in the past. Not only has he had a lot of teeth problems in his older age, but we have to see the vet a lot more often than normal checkups and shots in order to have his anal glands expressed since it doesn’t happen naturally like it does with larger dogs. Large or small.. I love them all! ❤ 🐶

Currently have a purebred Lab and a Lab/Golden cross, both were service dog pups I raised that were then career changed and I got them back as pets. Personally I've always been a German Shepherd person, though my next dog I'm leaning towards a Belgian Malinois, would be my first Mal. I like medium to large dogs, I'm an equestrian and a runner, I want a dog that can keep up with me.
