I am a girl and I agree with you Big respect to Men

When I played I was taught to play the ball out of bounds when someone went down with an injury; a real injury not a flop. I then instilled that in every player I coached for 15 years as an adult. Sportsmanship is more important than winning. What that first gal did is inexcusable. If I were her coach her ass would be on the bench.

First girl was so cruel. And she's openly like that knowing she's in front of an audience and cameras are rolling. Imagine how much more horrible she can be in private

Welllll. Winning is always good too, not at another’s physical expense. You just can’t help their emotions of losing. You can give them a hug or pat when they’re down and not step on them though.

The way that they caught each other flipping over each other, protecting each other from hitting the ground hard was beautiful and they both did so with a smile on their face and a hug afterwards. I only wish more people could be just like them

Any the world continues to celebrate these people. If we celebrate integrity and honour the sport will work itself out.

What I hate about this is that female footballers are taught to be as brutal as they possibly can, to fight fire with fire, and to take every opportunity as it presents itself, even if it means slighting another. I know this as I was taught this myself and have seen it happen on the pitch in almost every match I was in. This has got to change.
