Do you own the big wall at the back of your garden that goes up to the street? If so, is there some way you could attach a hoist at the top so you won't spend the rest of your lives carrying heavy things up and down the stairs? 🤔I'm sure there had to be one there, at some time. I can't imagine people carried things up and down over the many decades. Search "new electric hoist swing arm " for ideas. Also, search for "stair climbing carts." They make special ones so you can haul 330 lbs+ at once up stairs on like a little cart. You two already work so hard! The garden is spectacular. I love your pineapple sage plant. ❤

Seems like it would've been much easier if you had put the electrical wire through the pipes before you cemented them in. It's probably not gonna be an easy job to get the wires through.

I noticed that on your reinforced mesh that you're using for the kitchen bench is very rusty already. You should go over it with a wire brush or something as the rust will continue to grow within the bench. Cancer concrete we call it and it can cause the concrete to crack. 👍

You both work so hard having to bring all those heavy supplies from the delivery. The ceiling medallion you got from the charity shop is perfect. Your garden looks absolutely amazing! It’s so nice to pick things from a garden . You may want to dry the petals of your David Austen roses. I discovered that they stay fragrant after they are done and the petals begin to fall. You can dry them in your new basket. I put them in a little bowl on the table next to our bed. 🌸
