Knew you would want it after seeing what it can do. Especially in large wood. After Jeff gets proficient with it, you will be about living in the buncher to keep wood ahead of it. May need another forwarder even?

I'm hoping that's the case! We will see once we get groove and see what the production is going to be like with it

Hey Jon you won’t regret it I own a cat 501 with kodiak timber head 2 roller and a 803 with 623 and in bigger wood the 623 is just the way to go in my opinion and very productive. I like my cat in 12-18” aspen and pine… just my thoughts

So far I would have to agree a world of different in big wood

Sometimes Waratah operators add extended top knife points, which can make it easier to pick out small stems in piles.

Seems like that would have had been a good head when you had a forwarder guy that could keep up and a processor operator that was not looking out for his own best interests.
