Kane was smart and understood both the business and the streets. If he took the money with no contract, he'd be vulnerable and owe Suge which means he would have been working with no real clarity or sense of direction. Maybe Suge would have writing rhymes for the artists and doing events to promote Death Row but without an actual contract, Kane wouldn't have known where things began or ended. That's essentially how Suge was ripping off a lot of other artists so Kane must have heard the rumors and knew it was time to go.

Wonder if BDK went to LA by himself without his crew? Especially during that time when Suge was extorting folks. Kane was more Brooklyn royalty that B.I.G.

Kane was choosing his workds wisely. And seem shook. But no fault, SUge was getting people killed, and he was wise to be a little on edge.

"Heard the Fugees was tryna do me Look, bitch, I'll cut your face, this ain't no motherfuckin' movie" Does anyone know if the last line is a reference to the Fugess, "Killing Me Softly" video? You know, when Lauryn was in the movie theater??? I can't pinpoint the exact release date of the video.
