Grew up fishing all over the Glades in 50s 60s and 70s. It IS a spiritual place. I truly love the Glades and the memories I have in my heart and soul of this wonderful place.
Born in Miami 1950, grew up in the Glades, thank you for saving the Alligator, Rosetta Spoon Bills, Flamingos. For us, the old Floridians again, thank you for Saving our Everglades.
Shark River Valley, must be restored.
Glad to hear Peter Thomas’s voice he is my favorite narrator, listen to him all the time on forensic files

Beautiful place, and there are many places thru out florida that are public land with mixed use. Go visit them all!
Beautifully done documentary ❤
Thank God Joe got everybody together on the same page against the jetport. It would have ruined the Everglades and made it even worse than it is now
I was born in S FL. Dad took us out in the Glades when I was little. It's definitely a Spiritual place. Once you fall in love with it, you never forget it. It's a hard place but you feel the connectivity. Good things are being done to restore / protect but somehow, we just don't trust mother nature enough to allow free flow. Big Cypress is in better shape than the Glades because we took the flow away from the Glades. If somehow the pumping stations stop, the Glades will die.
