Honestly of season events, I dislike fatnacht most, mainly because how slow it is (it should be better this time), an dpermanent AFK campers all over place, which is just bothersome, I am fine with people camp one event once in a while but these sit there for hours, and it also causes some other people to go and nuke place, so you can end up in loop of hopping servers full of AFK people on one place or nuked helvetia, and main reward is one of ton of masks, and I generally am not interested in masks from it

I'm calling it right now, that donation box is going to be full to the brim with 1000+ Berets 😂

6 new glowing masks is gonna be a nightmare.

For the end boss,I've seen megasloth,ogua and sheepsquatch,dont know who is the last ones,I guess it might be supermutant-behemoth and blue devil

The walk speed increase and making them move to the start immediately is going to save us probably a few minutes worth of time haha

Love them adding the donation box. My CAMP is right by the wayward so I usually dropped my dupe masks off there, but this is even better.

I personally loved the meat week event it was fun and good way to obtain more treasury notes.

I have a scorchbeast queen mask , glowing sbq mask , deathclaw mask ! Now more rare masks sheeeesh 💪🏼

Im not gonna lie, i think shortening the time it takes for the bots to move and how long it takes for them to march is good. However when i was newer and didnt know what to do at the event, it often ended before i could figure out what it was i had to do

people already drop their uncommon masks that someone picks up so not like it really matters. The real winner is the speed.

i love Fastnacht, I wish it was a all year event like tea time.

Last Fasnacht I did the event 70 times, got 1 glowing mask. Unless they’ve upped the drop rate of the rare rewards, I won’t bother this time around.

This is awesome! I love how Bethesda pays attention to usability... such as the donation bin! So many loot bags dropped after the event with common masks, I remember people getting mad at people for dropping common masks which was bizarre

Why are so many people enamored with the big mascot masks?

An imperfect but fairly easy to say pronunciaction for Fasnacht would be something like fahz-knocked.

I’m actually very happy with these changes!! It’s a bunch of problems that players have said for years and finally they listened to at least some of those requests.

How do you know when you have a rare mask? On a sidenote;It’s pronounced “Fosh-Nockt” Missed Fascnacht.

My idea of hell doing faschnacht for eternity and never getting a rare mask! Oh and never being able to go to the bathroom

I have gone through this event for two seasons and never received a glowing mask. Was a good way to level up at the time however.

There's a lot of stuff that needs fixed. I can access loot through walls. 😂 or theres several fusion cores locked behind doors that dont need hacked cuz you can open the door by accessing the button from outside the cage. 😂

They should add a limit of taking 1 item for free from the donation box per however many minutes, unless you also place some items in it...

They should put in a feature that requires you to check in with the parade boss prior to being allowed to join the event each time. I am tired of all the people just spinning and not helping with the event.

@@togashin313 Actually it does matter. If you attend an event alone or with very few people, there are fewer challenges in the form of less enemies for one. If there are 15 people "at" an event but only 1 actually participating (and don't pretend this is somehow uncommon), that person has to face an increased challenge that their skill and level may not be enough for. Personally, I like to nuke the spot until people leave the server so that the only ones on that server are AFK cheaters that have no one to start the event for them.

Still no AFK prevention measures, super sad. Would've been easy to add a checkpoint or two that players need to go to during the event.

It still feels like it's a long dragged out bore fest.

This is why I nuke the event (along with several friends) when the afk cheaters are more than 3, until people bail on the server and the event never gets started for the afklowns

If the increased spawn rates of enemies are true, then it's relatively easy to coordinate a nuke drop with a friend in such a way that the likelihood of a robot getting destroyed is the highest. One acts as a spotter at the event while the other has his keycard ready at the silo. The moment they start marching, the spotter signals a go to the nuker, and once it's done they join another world where there are no AFKers. If all goes well, the players at the nuked event die simultaneously, and while they're respawning, the enemies will destroy one of the robots. If this happens, the rare mask tier will be removed from the loot pool and everyone except the AFKers win!

Wonder if ppl are gonna nuke it again... 😔

Started playing Fallout in the very beginning with the release of Fallout the original. Couldn't care less about the silly idiotic masks. Waste of an event. Supposed to be a post apocalyptic nightmare, not a ... whatever the hell this garbage is.
