There is Wild Earth which is a daily no kill live safari stream, and there is a Russian guy who has lions you can pet because they will jump in the safari vehicle and love you up. Plus, no, felines tend to do something called a "love bite" which can be harmful to zookeepers because their teeth will easily break the skin and leave nasty bitemarks even though the animal didn't mean to harm the zookeeper in any way... and the zookeeper will have to get stiches

thats one of the most uneducated comments out there, its not just bout being fed, if you cant read their body languages properly and act accordingly you might get mauled. Felines are temperamental creatures and if two of them annoy each other for whatever reason and you cant read the situation properly, you might get mauled and most likely die. and the sad part is that the same cat that killed you will most likely suffer depression and starve itself out.. A famous lion trainer in Egypt was mauled live and died during a circus show back in the 90s, cuz two male lions were competing for a female prior to the show. when one was praised for a trick, the other thought the trainer sided with him and jumped off and mauled the guy.. the lion later starved himself out. guy was called Muhammed ElHelw.

Yea, if it's done without pressure behind it and just loosely grabbing it's often a form of affection. One of my cats is like this and is very mouthy but it's usually just touching and holding my fingers.

This is reminiscent of tit-sucking. Same as the cat 'massage'- notice how cats will often kind of massage a person after jumping on their knees or something. This is the instinct move that helps them get milk from cat-mom's tits. Basically, if a cat does any of this, it means he or she associates you with their mom, and thus has the same kind of affection.

There is Wild Earth which is a daily no kill live safari stream, and there is a Russian guy who has lions you can pet because they will jump in the safari vehicle and love you up. I don't remember his name. I think he is in Africa too.

Plus, no, felines tend to do something called a "love bite" which can be harmful to zookeepers because their teeth will easily break the skin and leave nasty bitemarks even though the animal didn't mean to harm the zookeeper in any way... and the zookeeper will have to get stiches

So cute ❤️ my Golden Retriever used to do the same thing. He loved to have fingers in his mouth so much so, you never needed a leash, lol. He'd walk along, holding hands with you. Suffice it to say I got used to slobbery fingers. These cats are so gentle and sweet 😋

thats one of the most uneducated comments out there, its not just bout being fed, if you cant read their body languages properly and act accordingly you might get mauled. Felines are temperamental creatures and if two of them annoy each other for whatever reason and you cant read the situation properly, you might get mauled and most likely die. and the sad part is that the same cat that killed you will most likely suffer depression and starve itself out.. A famous lion trainer in Egypt was mauled live and died during a circus show back in the 90s, cuz two male lions were competing for a female prior to the show. when one was praised for a trick, the other thought the trainer sided with him and jumped off and mauled the guy.. the lion later starved himself out. guy was called Muhammed ElHelw.

I have a dog that does this, and have had dogs in the past that also did this. The cats I've had not so much, although I have been gently bitten, their mouths aren't really big enough like these cats lol.

The thing that gets me about big cats is that with wolves you look at it and go "yeah that's a wolf, not a dog" but big cats, fittingly, just look like very large house cats and my life will probably end because I simply must go give that mountain lion chin scratchies

Yea, if it's done without pressure behind it and just loosely grabbing it's often a form of affection. One of my cats is like this and is very mouthy but it's usually just touching and holding my fingers.

This is reminiscent of tit-sucking. Same as the cat 'massage'- notice how cats will often kind of massage a person after jumping on their knees or something. This is the instinct move that helps them get milk from cat-mom's tits. Basically, if a cat does any of this, it means he or she associates you with their mom, and thus has the same kind of affection.
