To mark the start of ‘big-carp season’, The Mindset returns for the first of two episodes, as we delve into the mind of Lee ‘Mozza’ Morris to learn about the mentality required to target big carp, paying special attention to one of the greatest carp lakes in the world, Rainbow Lake in France.
Mozza recalls the tale of how he first got to fish Rainbow, his first significant capture from the lake, and the process involved in eventually tracking down his first 70-pounder, the stunning Thousand Scale, and the emotions involved in such a milestone capture.
Mozza gives his thoughts on how you can still tip the balance in your favour when targeting individual fish, even if you are on limited time, why you should stay faithful to your approach, even in the darkest of times, and reveals the venue and fish he became so obsessed with as a teenager.
Coming up next Friday (7th October) is one of the most successful big-fish anglers in the history of UK carp fishing, Simon Crow.

Wow brought back so many memories fished rainbow in 1999 and never been able to get back on after having to cancel a trip the following year. Fished 17 what a place. Great video mate tight lines I’ll get back there some day
