I live in Texas where it happened our school took soooooo many safety measures to make sure it didn’t happen again we were only allowed to carry binders, backpacks stayed in lockers until the end of the day the doors were locked students couldn’t open the door for our classmates

As an older sibling myself, I cannot imagine how that must feel. It makes my chest hurt and my heart ache just thinking about it. My heart goes out to all those affected by these absolutely wretched and terrible events and I will continue to pray that God can turn this nation around.

@@aroaceenbie1546 gun control doesn't stop it and never will. This and most other massacres didn't happen because of the access to guns, guns are just tools. You need to actually dig deeper and understand the "why" someone would do it and fix the problem that gave them the reason. The guy in this specific shooting grew up poor and was bullied, leading to him resenting society and getting brainwashed by someone online that encouraged him to commit evil deeds. It's tragic but in the end its societies fault, lacking access to proper mental health support and looking down on less fortunate people. It's literally the degeneration of society that leads to the increase of violence. If you ban guns it won't matter, there'll be illegal unregistered guns and they'll instead chose cars to run people over. Anyone can get a car even for a small amount of money. There's a school in texas where the teachers are armed and they literally have a sign in front of the school to indicate that. And you know what the parents there think of it? They love it. They feel that their kids are safer because the teachers can actually fight back.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen this video. I took inspiration from this video from the Nashville shooting. All of this reminds me that we need to do a better job of protecting our kids. As an upcoming sophomore in high school, I worry about this almost every day. I can’t imagine going through the trauma that some of these kids go through because of what’s happening here in America.

So I was picked one day earlier then usual but it was my aunt and she told me that my brother and dad got in a car crash and my heart sunk I froze in fear and was hyperventilating I walked out of school looking like a ghost (I'm the oldest child and my little brother and dad are okay only the car got damaged and my dad just came out with a bloody nose) I still remember that day and when I watch up the married life song reminds me of it.
