Yep! And now they got them acting scared in competitions

So in a nutshell, Big Brother 1 was completely unique; focused on the condition of living rather than the contestants- also had vastly different logo. Big Brother 2-5 Played more classy/jazzy music and had the contestants names flow down one by one. Big Brother 6-9 Had the same scroll down, but the music changed to that rockin' tune most viewers are now familiar with. Big Brother 10 had the same music, but changed the presentation of contestants to showing 2-3 at once. Big Brother 11-13 had the same contestant presentation as Season 10, but the Music was updated (my favorite version as well), Big Brother 14-15 used Season 10's theme (or something equivalent to it. Big Brother 16-17 Changed the format to showing the contestants full body and had the same music from the past 2 seasons Big Brother 18 Was mostly the same except they switched back (at least for the first few episodes) to Big Brother 11-13 soundtrack-esque intro music. I just had to get this straightened out. I couldn't resist.

In terms of sequences 14 and 15 were the same as 10, but if you listen they sound very similar but the song used in 14-18 is a little bit more D&B than 6-10 which almost has a classic rock feel, so 14-15 actually were different than 10

I liked the pre-10 intros. After a houseguest was evicted they replaced their clip in the intro with the clip of them leaving the house. By the end of the season it was literally just a minute of watching people leave with their bags in their hands and it all felt super surreal imo

Well they had less of a budget so it didn't look as polished as later seasons but they also didn't have the technology we have today. While it may not be the best it was great for its time

It is based off the original Big Brother in the Netherlands. They still have the "xx housemates, 1 winner, no privacy" thing.

It's because they had to introduce Americans to the very idea of it. If I remember right, a large part of the first episode was just Julie explaining what Big Brother was and the whole concept of being watched 24/7, no contact with the outside, etc. It was a largely unique concept for a show at the time, at least in the US. We had Real World, but that's about it. It's a lot more common nowadays to have shows like this with cameras on people 24/7.

The 2-5 season intros have so much of a nostalgic feel for some reason I miss it but I've never even seen the 2-5 seasons lol.

Everyone in the bb18 theme song is wearing clothes and Natalie's like "Imma wear my swimsuit for this ok"

Every show looked like that back then. It's a very '90's / early 2000's way of doing television.

This gave me chills. Season 6 is where the theme song that currently plays now started. Also B.B. is my FAVORITE SHOW EVER!! I turned my tv on one day and the show was playing and I enjoyed it so much. Rachel’s season was the one that was one and I was completely hooked and went back and watched all except 1 because it was too old but oh my gosh! This show is undeniably amazing.

Wish all the seasons could have the poses like was the case Seasons 16-18.

I looove the style of 10-15, and I wish it would return. It's faster and interesting how they gray out the evicted houseguests. But man could it use some updating if it returned... if it was updated and returned that would be amaaaazing. Big Brother has been sort of main stream and predictable recently, but if they brought back that into it would signify the series being brought back to the good days.

Rofl I'm 15 and have been watching since I...since I turned 15 XD I didn't discover the show til last summer, got obssessed with it, and then watched season 17 from last year, then season 18. Also watched through Season 7,10, and 14 all since they seemed like the greatest seasons I had to watch after spoiling some stuff about it through Wiking the history of the show and the legends of the show. Currently I'm now getting into Survivor too :P

The old intros were the best. So much nostalgia!

It makes so much sense now why I thought this show was a soap opera when I was younger! The earlier intro music was so calm lol

it's amazing how I am able to remember each contestant from the seasons! I think it has a lot to do with the music

I love how Donny is so innocent and waives his huge hand lol

I grew up with the loud music and the house with all the people on it. When they changed it 3 years ago, I was like, what?!

Currently watching 16 💙💙 it my favorite so far

So the winner has never been the last person shown in the intro, hopefully that trend continues with Paulie not winning

Season 6 is the season that hooked me in, but I started midway however, All-Stars was the first full season for me, been a fan ever since...

I came into the program in the beginning of the 5th season and like all of us here cannot wait till the next series comes out....

season 3, 5&8 my top fav seasons! loved Dani, the (ex factor sea 4) and project Dna, the twin twist/secret siblings of 5 never got better than that! and of course the all Stars was great!

Has anybody noticed that in BB13, they kept rolling the music a little longer than 11 & 12? They also viewed a couple people for a slightly shorter time (I think) like Jeff and Jordan, them two were shown for a couple milliseconds shorter than most of them.

BB Seasons 11-13 have the best theme by far.

It's interesting how they show Jeff and Jordan first.

So interesting. It makes me miss the old seasons. I feel like it's so overproduced now. I first started watching with season 3.

I wish for just one more season they use either the exact season 2-5 intro or the exact 8-15 intro please. Just one more season.

nimaside Nah but I just like the cast it's soooo diverse and you can't say "James is so boring" because that would be untrue, I love the drama and just the season in general, it might be bad that 18s my favorite out of all of them but I just love this season my opinion doe
