This is one heck of a glow-up! This last artstyle shift to far zanier cartoonish stretch and squish is doing the heavy lifting to really help give this one its own character!

I like how freezy turned into a kind of rival boxer to the player the player can get buff for a few pwerful hits and freezy has the whole ice cold killer thing

@@Shardy3000the stuff they put in pools and hot tubs to make the water self-cleanable or atleast look clean, it is not safe to consume especially at large amounts, explains why Titanic looks so sick and droopy when we see him in the demo after he slurped up all the pool water, especially when there were still people swimming inside it

Alright, this actually looks a hell of a lot better then what I've seen. If the developers were looking for a looney tunes inspired style for art, they will succeed with this. Now to see if the gameplay can be more challenging cause currently I've seen it being unfiting for my desired exhilaration.

Am i the only one who loves the ice-cold killers new design? Bro, it looks like snow-miser ☃️

I love just how crazy everyone's gonna get INCLUDING THE PLAYER

tip: the teaser seems to be sped up and doesnt reflect the actual game speed so if you want to watch it witht he actual games peed then go to custom playback speed and put on 0.8x or 0.85x

I just realized that when Freezy Boy is hit, blocks of ice fall down, what a nice detail.

I love on how this almost feels like a mixed between pizza tower and antonblast with the whole look of this game as it’s so cartoon like that it almost feels like those two games with the animations here, as you know this game will be a very great game by the animations and great pixel direction alone here.

One Hit Wonder is definitely going to be an interesting boss.

Wasnt expecting another artstyle change, but this is by far the best one yet! Hopefully they stick with this one

I think that's an entirely new character. And no, not even a rematch design. It's confirmed since we got shown freezy cools, which looks more closer to freezy boy.

BTW, I do love the concept of his fight. Having to deal with all the henchmen working together before you can actually hit the main boss. It's a standard concept in most games, but in a different genre that looks like would be executed well.

It's just me or the new design of Freezy boy and Ice Cold Killer look similar to the drawing style of Earthworm Jim?.

I like how it looks more cartoony than the original one. Also is the player able to switch more than 1 characters or this is the final one

Love how dynamic the protagonist is. The way his hair whips and all helps add to the power of his punches. Looks like some bosses got nerfed, Titanic 5000 for example. Just completed the entire old demo all challenges, so I can say I'm glad some very awesome changes are being made.

Yeah. Kinda sucks. Would have preferred if maybe the roster was changed a bit. Trigger happy did feel like she got nerfed a bit too, although maybe for the better because even though I love the fast paced action of her original fight, a bit more reaction time is welcomed. Also feels like the new antagonist will be able to select their lightning power, cuphead style. Although I hope it doesn't overcomplicate the game too much. But still, I love this new update. I can't wait for the final product to be released

@@jossuecabrera8611 With Trigger Happy in particular I feel the original reaction time fit her pace because well, she's on a rampage. It's not like it's difficult to react to either, I definitely had an easier time learning her patterns as opposed to Titanic 5000, who doesn't telegraph his attacks as much.

I absolutely love the music in the game

I actually noticed that Freezy comes back as Freezy Coolz and his Ice Cold Killer was different from the previous one

Ice cold killer is an entirely new character. Would assume would be a very late fight in the game

I gotta tell you, the main theme music is a real ear worm.

Looking at the trailer (and the comments), i can see that there might be possible boss rematches with such design changes that even kirby EX bosses would be put to shame, or they could be added phases to bosses (freezy boy, Dr. Brawn and coach shank are the ones I could find). Either way, these are welcoming additions to the game and i hope it find success. (Although one thing is concerning, wheres the wild dude?)

Not to say that the art is bad... but part of me wants them to stick to one art style all the way through to the finished project. I get they have an actual funding now so they can afford it but I liked the second style ok. I just hope all these changes will be worth it in the end.

I'd definitely say it is, whilst the animation before was fluid, the motions and the flow of everything was kinda lacking, so I'm glad they really took the time make everything more punchy

I agree, I preferred it when he wouldn't mind them in the previous version, but the final part when he would get that troll-face Grin as the final part of his transformation is something I look forward to

I don't know if you reused the animations of the demo and upgrade them. But this is like the 3rd time you remade this project. I don't say it's a bad thing, but doing it too much is gonna kill your project slowly (Skull and bones is an example). Despite that, the game by itself seems to be in a very good track. The character are more silly-like and more alive.

The closet I can find is DTR Boss’s theme. The melodies sound similar but they’re basically different. Probably a newer version or DTR Boss’s theme used in this trailer

You can see in footage from original teasers on the developers' Twitter that they were standing in the original design but now they're being elevated by a robot I kinda dig it though
