Are you still satisfied with the upgrade to fuel injection. What type of fuel pump did you use. I am building a 1985 k20 4x4, 454, 4 speed. Thanks for your video

Absolutely love it. Even after months of sitting I can go out and fire it up instantly (Don't drive it in the winter)

How much MPG can you expect after installing fuel injector on 454 big block 7.4 liter engine?

Lots of factors there. This truck only got 4.5mpg with a carb, 6.5 with the fuel injection. So percentage wise it's a large increase. This has very low rear gears so mileage on this truck is already going to be terrible because of that haha.

@@RatMaro see I have a 90 k3500 single wheel. Same setup though. 454 th400 4.10’s or 4.56’s. At about 65 I’m at about 3500 rpm or so. I’ve been looking at the edelbrock 35870 kit for about 2500 bucks. It’s a tunnel ram efi system.

@Chris Perry How many gears in your tranny? 3500rpm seems pretty high for only 65mph, however I’m unfamiliar with both the 454 and those older trucks in general.

@@NotAFingBootlicker it’s the th400. Three speed auto. No overdrive. 4wd with 4.56 gears
