Thank you so much Nat Geo!!! I went to Big bend 2-3 weeks ago and didnt realize how much wildwife are hidden all around the park! One of the most lovely places on earth and enjoy the remoteness of it. Be careful if you visit during the summer time, there are so many past losses for people underestimating the heat past noon

Finally a story about my state. ❤

I felt so bad for the Mother Roadrunner she couldn't get a break from her babies literally driving her berserk I noticed after she gave them all that food they were still crying when she sat down she just closed her eyes But I have never ever ever seen the stars look like that in the sky I'm going to take a trip there to see that in person

We got to hike Panter junction with a few inches of snow on the ground in 2021. Pretty rare, but tbey actually get snow in the mountains occasionally. It's was an amazing place.

30:59 false, this is the harvard agave. The agave youre referring to is the bue Taquilera Agave not to be confused with the Agave Americana (the typical agave you see in almost every yard. Both are not native, they exist naturally deep in mexico.

I loved all the animals they covered in this documentary, but I was disappointed that there was no mention of mountain lions. They are as important to the ecosystem as bears or any other of the animals mentioned.

Austin is in center of Texas in the heart as it were. Big Bend is in the south west on the Mexican border But what ever. It’s by far the best place to visit in the state of Texas.
