Very much so! Since she's such a force of nature to be reckoned with now, just imagine what she'll be like when she's an adult and ready to become a Mama! Her mate will chosen wisely!💞 Just wait til she's incubating when a 🐟or wonky stick shows up? Her mate's talons better be made of leather! 😅😂🤣😭

Well, she hasn't yet fully forsaken the nest nor stopped looking to her parents to feed her. Looks like we may still her with us for a while. Thanks for capturing these moments for us, Cali.

Jackie is an incredible mom. As soon as Spirit calls, she flies in. Love how Spirit checks to see if she’s still there and gives her mom peeps.

I feel so lucky to have seen this live. After not seeing her yesterday at the nest this was a treat to watch after a long day at work. She is stunning and the views behind her only add to her glory. I also love when I get lucky and catch a sneeze live on camera. There’s something so adorable about seeing her sneeze!

I always thought bald eagles were beautiful, but after watching Spirit close-up, I have to say she's stunning. When the wind blew, parting darker feathers to reveal glimpses of white- Wow. Spirit is gorgeous. Thank you for the close-ups.

Screaming Eagles is quite right in her case. It's a joy just to see them every single day.

That's what happens when leaving tHa nest unattended, ransacking by tHa "Cirque du Nocturne featuring Fiona and Fast Freddie"! Besides raiding Spirit's pantry and comfy bed, they must be playing Jenga while we are sleeping! 😴

Maybe it’s a day she hadn’t found any food to her liking so she calls on the parents to provide! Maybe she seen mom had a fish and knew if she went to the nest and called, mom would bring it to her!? However it went, glad to still see them at the nest tree! 👍🏻❤️🙏🏻

Spirit has spirit! A healthy but demanding girl who knows what she wants and won't stop until she gets it. Ma and Pa know she's still very young and will support her appropriately. But they also employ tactics to help her understand that you can't always get what you want. I love this eagle family! You're right! And I've learned that in Nature, there are no laws that are set in stone! We already know that Princess Spirit is intelligent and have conquered many milestones. And there is NO way that Mama Jackie and Papa Shadow will send THEIR out into tHa 🌎 without have mastering ALL tHa necessary skills needed for her survival, no matter how long it takes! They will NOT set her up for failure of any kind! This Eagle family understands true family dynamics and display their unconditional love for one another 💞

Looking at contented Spirit dozing on her perch the last day I saw mama bring her a fish drives home that she is still very young, so, really do hope that wherever she is mom is nearby! Thanks 💚🌹

The footage at the end of this video from the second cam looks like Jackie (or Shadow) was training Spirit to chase her while she was carrying a stick. That, or Jackie didn't feel like being attacked by Spirit in the nest immediately after delivering a stick. 😊

She’s enjoying her family. I always worry when they finally leave. It’s kind of sad too.

Thanks again Cali for a long look at Spirit whom I miss so much! She left suddenly, unexpectedly, and her calls still sound like the juvi red tail to me. But, I am no expert.

Don’t you think they are Shadow and Jackie, you just can’t tell from the camera which is which?

Seems he always brings those fish 🐠 back with no heads, guess he likes eating those fish eyeballs

Most of the spines of fish are oriented backward so will only go down one way. So they take the head off before giving it to their young, so it doesn't get stuck in their crops. Today he left the head on. 🙂

Last night I was watching Fiona bouncing all over the nest, then she ran up the big tree trunk and it appeared that she fell. Did anyone else see this .

Anyone knows what is the status of the unhatched egg?

Spirit cannot yet hunt for her own food....parents will provide food for the first 6 months
