Big Bang Data: Dear Data
Dear Data, created by information designers, Giorgia Lupi & Stefanie Posavec, documents their lives for a year through a "slow data" transmission. Whilst living on either side of the Atlantic they both collected and measured a particular type of data relating to their lives every week, visualising the results on the back of postcards, which they sent to each other.

Thank you for the book! The best part is that the whole project is fully analog and brilliantly creative. The mindfulness and self awareness required to do this is inspiring. Thanks for showing us a whole new way to look at our world.

It is downright brutal that even after seven years, students in universities have to bear the consequences and dissect their brains to try and figure out something as remarkably pointless of an activity as this, which is not only a colossal mess to wrap one's head around but also a catastrophic waste of time. And for what? To get good grades just because two humans had nothing better to do with their lives. If you both have any humanity left in you, then I urge you to send a notification to universities all around the world to stop using this torturous data postcard nonsense as a mandatory activity containing such a heavy percentage of our marks.
Dear Giorgia Lupi & Stefanie Posavec, I would like to let you know that my University, University of Tasmania used your idea as one of the assignment tasks where most students have to record their 4 weeks of their routine. So I would like to ask your permission to ask my University NOT TO DO THIS KIND of task, because not to say that I don't like doing this kind of idea, its just that its so CONFUSING to do it. NGL, I watched this VIDEO like 5 times and reading your articles and book, trying to suck all that knowledge on how to do this. So please DO ME A FAVOR by EMAILING MY UNIVERSITY NOT to DO THIS HEINOUS CONFUSING SATANIC PSYCHOTIC WEIRD DATA THING you called! I have NEVER Seen THIS KIND OF TASK inspired by two PEOPLE who are LONG DISTANCE KEEP SENDING DATA ABOUT THEIR PERSONAL LIVES & SHIT because this one of the MOST CONFUSING MENTAL BRAIN DAMAGE thing I've ever DONE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! NO JUST NO!
