Another interesting theory I heard regarding the Permian Extinction was the theory that a gamma ray burst may have hit earth

Very informative video.

One honourable mention to make here could be the extinction in relation to the Great Oxygenation Event. Life was only microbial back then, but it is assumed that 99% of all life was wiped.

İmpossible to count exactly. Today around 110 million species live on earth. But the main point here, without global extinctions always new species came and went from history of evolution through years. But we almost now that more than 99% percent of al species lost their last "hope" in a different period. We, as a homo species appeared in earth around 500 000 years ago. Dinosaurs, dominated earth around 140-190 million years. So we are still "baby" 😂

That's debatable and it will be nothing compared to past ones. Additionally, extinctions are a natural process. The catalyst for the events is neither good nor bad. It is a necessary cyclical event. Your hate of humans is equivalent to the great oxygenation or a volcano or an asteroid. These things are bound to happen. Get over it.

Great video! Simple and to the point! However, the current 6th mass extinction should be addressed also. This mass extinction is said to be far more severe than any before. A complete collapse of stability.

Can we consider Ice age ad a extinction ? As the earth was frozen and many animals must have field ?

The last ice age for example surely was no mass extinction event, no. In general, there is no clear eveidence that ice age caused such drastic events... but you are right that it forces some species to adapt or flee and some also may die out because they could not adapt/flee.

Fossils or specifically fossils trapped in millions of years of rock formation like the Burgess Shale in Canada. Even then the accuracy is like 30% at best I think since the organisms trapped in the mud only represent a small fraction of the whole population

Now extinction events is basically tree extinction events going on, without tree no life is possible, so this is noy human extinction events,this last all life extinction events,and human is the reason, 😢 mankind is the only threat to mankind and earth, yes truth is god, lie is a monster

Get your facts straight before posting a video. The meteor which ended the Cretaceous period impacted in southern Mexico near the Yucatán peninsula producing the Chicxulub crater. A quick google search should have been done before uploading this video. We do not need anymore erroneous “facts”.
