You meant money spent on Americans, supplies, and research on Covid medication during covid-19..... prior before covid-19, Donald Trump's economy was undoubtedly the best economy in modern history with due respect to President Clinton economic miracle. What is saving the economy today under biden are still President Trump's economic policies still kept in place.... just look at last month job report, 80% of jobs generated in June 2024 are jobs that are backed by government, and less than 20% came from the private sector. Even with the covid-19, "unemployment was around 6%" when Trump left, unemployment in the sense that most companies sacked their staffs and companies shot down because of the pandemic. Prior before covid-19 unemployment was less within 2-3% with good quality jobs, tech sector was booming, high paying manufacturing jobs, employers were scared that they will loose their staffs to other companies, the economy was on fire, America was able to recover from covid-19 because of his strong economic polices he made. This present Biden can't name any progress the made on the economy. I am black, and I am with President Trump!

I own a restaurant for many years Reality: all of my customers are not going out to eat as much, because in ole yellers economy people have less money in their pockets due to extreme inflation caused by excessive amount off money being printed and floated into the economy for a myriad of social problems. This is a fact. Crime out of control due to not keeping repeat criminals in jail … fact Open borders has illegals wondering our country using our tax dollars for their food medical housing etc. I’ve seen enough from this guy Voting Trump this time If you’re better off under Biden then vote for him. He’s done zero for me and for my friends family employees and customers. So no one I know is voting for Ole Yeller. Cannot afford him for another year

The answer to the first question is yes, taxes will never go up, and spending will never go down. Both options are politically unviable because the voters can’t do math. Debt increase will outpace GDP. Hyperinflation is the only path forward.

This is your own bias talking and it's amazing that people like you have no critical thought. Your disdain for Trump causes you make assumptions about Hassert who you clearly don't know personally, but know that he worked in a Trump Administration. Mark Esper worked for Trump, served his country as a soldier, Ranger, and Defense Secretary. So its he a liar too? Plenty of people served in a Trump admininstration to serve their nation and they shouldn't have their character downgraded as a result. Oh my god he had a document from serving his country and signed by the US President. He must be bad!! lol Oh and the Democrats have been so truthful! Yeah Biden is " Sharp, focused, and detailed oriented" that's a quote from Homeland Security Mayorkas, and even funnier then his "our Border is secure" As the FBI raids 3 cities capturing 8 Tajiks with ties to ISIS, and were wiretapped discussing bombs

Trump in 2004: "It just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans. Now, it shouldn't be that way. But if you go back, I mean it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats....But certainly we had some very good economies under Democrats, as well as Republicans. But we've had some pretty bad disasters under the Republicans." Trump was a registered Democrat from August 2001 through September 2009. Chew on that for a moment. That Biden sure does play a long game, huh?

Good discussion about real world probabilities. The tricky thing with reciprocality regarding less-friendly nations is that it won’t be “in kind”. Their governments deeply subsidize their labor and production (one way or another) so that they can export their goods at a deep discount to US domestic production, allowing those nations to compete unfairly. Our nearly free market government will not and cannot afford to subsidize US products, so we must apply selective tariffs to offset foreign advantages, taken unfairly. That math works whether the next president is Donald or it remains Jill…
