This country holds no promise to most of its citizens. All I see is decline: decline in standards of living; decline in life expectancy; decline in morals; decline in infrastructure, etc,etc. It’s frightening and depressing. No American politician has the interests of American workers at heart. Little wonder the working class of this country have become suspicious of everything related to the rulers and their shenanigans.

i recommend gettng democracy: a society administered by public service under direction of regular referendum and controlled by initiative. also good to fire the soldiers and replace with universal military service. prevents coups. navy and air force must be professional, but can be small.

The other problem with the US is that we have a lot of leftists here who never lived under the wrath of a dictatorship and never fully appreciated the history they read about concerning the extreme domestic destructive behavior of other dictatorships. In their situation of relative comfort and privilege compared to what people who survived real dictatorships went through, the threat of a dictatorship here doesn't look any scarier than the realities of a flawed democracy. Hyper-capitalism has done a number to the wellbeing of the lower classes, and historically, many minority groups, but most living Americans have never tasted the more extreme horror of pure fascism. And that kind of privilege-induced blindness to this risk puts everyone in danger, from Trump and going into the future.

I have a hard time recognizing a groundswell for Stein or Delacruz.But- this an opportunity displace one of the 2 two-party parties. Socialists seem to not recognize it. Do they actually want it.
