Forgot his wife Melania was standing next to him when he said she really wanted to be there. Aren't those the same signs of cognitive decline? But who really cares if they don't recall things? They have dozens of staff and officials who will always remind them. Memory is only important if they're playing Jeopardy or other quiz games. The only thing that matters to me is will they do the job with integrity, honesty and professionalism? Trump is 0-3 on those criteria.

I do understand that elderly people do have memory losses but you do know that they can treat the issue before it worsens overtime. & I'm sry to say this: some people have a hard time to remember names or switch them around even younger adults, heck I don't even know my dad's birthday if I didn't write it down in the calendar. especially when u meet people once a year and never had anything to do with them for over a year. worked with a guy for 4 weeks to help out the business and after 1,5 years I met him again and he said "don't u remember me? we worked together a while ago" it took me a hot minute to remember that situation but still to this day I don't know his name anymore. It has nothing to do with age.

She would get angry at everything because she knew she was losing her memory and function but didnt understand why. They dont want to give up control but can no longer take care of themselves.
