In the way , you do want a Man / Woman as old as them to lead the country with years of experience and years of sacrifice to the political life rather than a young hipster in charge. As an example: would you take your relative ( in need of a heart surgery) to a young student or to an old man with 50 years worth of experience in heart surgery.
