the red button is for manually turning on/off the light and the blue button is to cancel or reset if the remote fails or battery dies

Easily defeated by itself but extremely effective in combination with one or more bike locks! :)

I would hope so. But I bought it and the arm beep is TOO LOUD. So I asked for a refund and the seller disappeared? on ebay so I got it free! So I never used it... But I'll try it out now as I'm going to do an ebike conversion and it's more likely to get stolen. I really wanted to arm it at restaurants & customers - but as it's too loud, I might only use it when shopping & overnight.

Very nice alarm I am using also for my E bike and it’s very secure the battery time is more than 15 days

I think versions WITHOUT a taillight is better. Won't drain the battery. More stealth. Less need to remove the alarm to charge it. Would be sad if bike got stolen when I was recharging the alarm. For light, use a dedicated taillight that you can bring inside to recharge more easily than this. (Planetbike Superflash maybe

The mount is VERY CHEAP. You could literally RIP the tail light off of the bike because the securement is made out of plastic. The tailight, alarm sensitivity and key is good. Mounts are trash!

@@downtoridemtb The mount is made out of cheap plastic. If you like to jump hills and straight gas through trails it will definitely NOT last. I wouldn’t even suggest it for a city rider. You could literally rip the alarm off with ease because of the cheap plastic.

You need to unscrew with Alan key the light/alarm to charge forget that! Who can stand outside in dark to put it back on or take it off with Alan key? Hopeless

Sounds like a huge pain for anyone else trying to get their bike on the same rack. One little nudge and it goes off. Eventually, everyone nearby is just going to learn to ignore it.
