I've heard a lot of people say that the genealogies are the most boring part to read through and I admit it wasn't much easier for me either when I decided to read the Tanakh/Old Testament so I appreciate videos like this one

It is because God has written the Bible in figurative languages, some of the true meaning of his words won’t be understood by anyone including the prophets who wrote the Bible, and its meaning are sealed until the end times. Daniel 12:8-9 8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?” 9 He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. John 16:25 25 “Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father. I assure that the questions you have about what’s written in the Bible, have its answers in the Bible. You just need to willing to look for the answers. The Bible is very interesting once you know it’s value. I don’t blame people who couldn’t understand the Bible or people who take everything in the Bible literally and try to live impossible standard of life, because they simply don’t know how to read it, so knowing how to read and willingness to understand is most important.

you are correct, this is why it is said they lived to be hundreds of years old, and also why the bible tells us to pay no heed to endless genealogies 1 Timothy 1:4.

12:40 something interesting about the Bible that you didn’t mention was that when Sarah was told she would have a child in her old age, she laughed hysterically. In Hebrew, Isaac’s name is Yitzchak, coming from the Hebrew word “tzochek,” which translates to “laughter”.

@Anonymous I have actually read the Bible in original hebrew. It's pronounced "Itschak" think of the words "it's" and "chuck" in english but remember that "ch" in hebrew is a sound that doesn't exist in english and would be hard for you to pronounce, so Isaac is perfectly fine to use.

I've studied the Bible and I can't give you a concrete answer but if I had to make sense of it, I'd explain it as God not necessarily liking the human tradition of giving the inheritance to the first born and instead judging people based on merit and potential, and almost always directing the hand of fate so that the person who he wants or thinks deserves it the most recieves it. The Bible is more like a game of sims than a third person narration. Even if he doesn't directly interfere, which he does a lot, he makes sure he gets what he wanted in the end.

Blue is for Democrats and Red is for Republicans. There is a reason the parties chose these colors to represent them. Blue angels vs Red devils. During the civil war the Blue coats won. What I read is that Abraham actually came fro India TO Egypt where Egypt was the center of trade, knowledge and information. Back in those days, Hinduism was known as brahmism so Abraham's father being so devote called his son A-brahm. So yes most likely the patriarch of all abrahamic religions was indeed a Hindu convert to Judaism.

Although I’m not a religious person and I feel the people who wrote the Bible had an agenda and we’re trying to set guidelines for humanity to follow to make them behave and be better people. That’s how I see that book, total fiction, not to be taken literally as many do, but stories and guidelines on how to be a good person. Once you put a “religion “ behind those values it ruins everything. More people have been killed in the name of religion than all diseases combined in history.

Aron Ra actually has a really good educational and entertaining series on the topic on his channel where he goes through as many organisms as we know about and basically follows our line in the animal kingdom. The series is like 55 episodes long because that's hundreds of millions of years worth of information going into a series.

One example is one of the oldest empires had different people coming together to live but everyone had their own god and to make it work they mixed the gods and create a new one and that's another example on how God was born.

Yes that is basically correct. The bible contains history but needs to be interpreted spiritually. The whole purpose of the bible is Jesus Christ.( He is all through the OT when you understand and study it). The coming saviour is already mentioned by God after Adam& Eve sinned in Genesis

Amusingly enough, in Judaism the snake is just a snake. I had never heard of the snake being the devil until I was a teenager, and assumed it was a fairly niche belief.

I don't think you are fully correct in your explanation. You totally leave out the decedent of Ham. Of course you found a lot of similarities from the bible and the quran, Muhammad traveled extensively studying Judaism and Christianity in order to bring religion, something missing, back to his people. So, his writings (scribes actually wrote) include stories from the Judaism and Christian bibles.

They are certainly Germanic areas, just like Norway. Tracking the European tribes over the past 50000 years is quite an exercise in itself, even without the Biblical theories. Many modern nations once claimed to be the homeland of disappeared legendary tribes like the Goths, Vandals and Huns, making the true charts hard to reconstruct.
