Bible Study struggle | glorifying God through art
A couple months ago I hopped on Instagram to express a struggle I was having with studying my bible and how art usually helps me break out of a anxious moment. But I was struggling, thinking that my not wanting to study and needing to make something felt like I was betraying God.
This was my conversation with myself and friends on Instagram as I worked through it.
If you struggle with things like this I’ve found that reminding myself - if my art helps me reconnect with God, if it glorifies Him and brings me to worship and pray then it is good.

This just proves we can gloirfy God through anything. Reading the Bible is just the beginning, expressing your love for God unveils a whole new chapter some people never knew!
Your statement at the end reminds of that Scripture that says “whether you eat or drink or whatever you do. Do all to the glory of God” including Scripture painting in a journal 📓 🙌🏼😊❤️

I feel seen in the depths of my soul after watching this 💛 decision making paralysis/fatigue is so daunting for me....which I believe at the age of 45, I have just now discovered likely stems from ADD. It so often leaves me battling shame and guilt. Your testimony has encouraged and released me of some of that struggle just to know I am not alone. 💛 thank you for being vulnerable and sharing. I am so very grateful and blessed by it.

Thank you so much for sharing this testimony about your journey with God when it comes to studying of His Word. This encourages me because I can identify with you. My case is a little different because you can find joy doing art but I suffer from anemia and fatigue, and I don’t have strength sometimes to do anything, I freeze and I can’t even read. Prayers appreciated 🙏
