Bible Study Breakdown w/Jackie

I (Jackie) love the bible and I feel a particular burden to empower people (and women in particular) to love it as well. A crucial part of enjoying the scriptures is knowing how to handle them. So I set aside a little time to share with y'all the four principles I always use when studying the Bible.

I discovered her by watching the Desperate for Jesus conference this weekend. I was so convicted by her message, I immediately turned it off but went back to it because I knew I needed to hear it. Then God bought me right back to her channel again today to compete His work! It’s important to mention that I just got saved last year. This was the second time I felt such strong conviction.

@Jackie, after my New Conception (Roman's 1:20, the unseen New Birth follows the natural Birth's pattern) I began to study the Bible to know what it actually says. I questioned every word's meaning(s), story, its association and revalence to today's events while rereading it. Two verses in Genesis 1 (14s "signs, season, days and years & 28s replenish) slapped me in the face. Then I wanted to know what happened during the day of rest, why there were no plants when Adam was formed, how did Adam know about the operation to call (them both) woman and finially why v 2:24 said "for that cause A man...". When compared to what we see now, how did that produce what we have. "Come let us reason together..." is written and reasoning DEMANDS Q&A so I asked those and a multitude of others and wrote them. The answers I have found are written on hubpage.com/@the0natuteboy and http:://prop1.org/protest/elijah/nature.htm explaining a General Revelation of the Bible. May it be an eye opener for you. Peace Elijah NatureBoy

“Hypocrisy happens when application doesn’t” (paraphrased; my favorite phrase in the video). 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Girl this was sooooo good. I have heard “how to study the Bible” numerous ways. But you have provided what I needed: examples. When you see how someone practices the ‘observation’ part of studying the Bible, it makes it so much easier to understand what is meant. I understood to a degree...I mean, “what is happening in the massage” isn’t hard to grasp. But I never thought to ask “why isn’t Hannah eating?” Just that little question expounds so much when you find the answer. The layers of understanding that is added is phenomenal! Thank you so much for this! (Satan was trying to stop you when you had to do it 4 times but, you persevered! I thank you for that!) 😊❤️

  • @Naturallyshe77

The best thing I took from this that was soo important is that" you have to use scripture to interpret scripture" . This is key and alot of people fail at this! So many people think they can just read a few verses of the Bible and think they know it all. You have to connect scripture with other scriptures to really understand it.This is why the Bible is such a a great tool because you never stop learning from it no matter how many times you read it.

This is mind blowing: I love the particularity that you have into reading the bible: I love the fact that you just thought that Hannah was unable to worship! Wow, that's so amazing! May God increase this wisdom that you are perusing! I pray Isaiah 50 over you: *"The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of discipleship,* *to sustain the weary with a word.* *He awakens Me morning by morning; *He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple. 5The Lord GOD has opened My ears, and I have not been rebellious,* *nor have I turned back.* *6I offered My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who tore out My beard. I did not hide My face from scorn and spittle.* *7Because the Lord GOD helps Me, I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set My face like flint, and I know that I will not be put to shame*. Keep shining Jackie! Like the pure light of the world: Jesus

I was very excited to start reading my study bible with commentary, because I'd gain 'knowledge' of the word and get help with interpreting it. Now I understand that that commentary is not my own interpretation of the word. It's someone else's. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but I was more so relying on the study part of the Bible than on the holy spirit to open my heart for what he wants me to get from the cripture. I have read parts of the Bible (small parts), but I feel that for me it's time to start studying it. I will get myself a normal Bible and read and study it without the studybible part. I feel like God is talking to me. Even though I'm very excited to get into the word, I still make it worldly. He is telling me to trust in Him, and so will I.

Praying for understanding what I read has been one of my requests to God. You have truly helped me with that breakdown. Not being able to allow scripture to interpret itself is one reason why some will call the Word of God contradicting. Thank you, and may you increase in wisdom for the body's sake.

I'm 69 yrs old but this young lady has helped to open my eyes as to how real and alive the bible is. May God bless and protect her and her family. Regarding our gifts: You/we were given gifts That are ours but not to keep. No these gifts like us won't stay They were given so we'd share So give it away. Some of us know what they are So we hone them to perfection Some of us so good were able to make a connection. So our livelihood may rely on our gift or talent to get by. Still give it away. God may have given you the gift to Write or paint, play music, sing or dance, Those are gifts to give back to Him at first chance. The gift of giving He gave us all We do, Some of us in large amounts some of us in small. Just Give it away. The greatest gift He gave us all, The gift of adoption if we so choose, to heed His call. So the gifts you've been given and cherish He wants us to give away not be selfish. Give it away He gave sight to the blind Legs to the lame Music to the deaf For those who choose The right to bear His name!! So give it away. Not all gifts can be heard or seen Some are in quiet actions To give to those in need An encouraging word Given at just the right moment Is a gift beyond compare Given to those that may be suffering, and in despair. So Give it away. So if you have a gift your holding on to. Don't keep it just for you. When you give your gift You get back tenfold or more With God there's no counting or keeping score. Give it a way. The blessings flow from Him That's one of His many traits. So my friend Give it away.

I am so thankful for how God works through you to teach others, particularly myself. There are times when I am straying from the truth, or when I forget what God has said about me and about Himself, and He has used your teachings to remind and convict me of these things. So thank you very much, and all praise and glory be to God!

Wow Jackie. Thank you. This inspired me to pray for you. You're such a gem...a real treasure. I pray that God will keep/preserve you (your health, your walk with Him etc.)...I pray that God provides for every need you and your family may have...but most of all I pray that God continues to reveal Himself to you and allows your desire for Him to increase. That last part is a bit selfishly motivated lol...but watching you know and love God is really a blessing to me. 😁🙌🏾
