the burn is a heat spike caused by laying it on too thick. this can be resolved by applying first 2 layers thinner, and then build on the third. nice results.

Premier Gel have some beautiful colours, soo pigmented. This Liquid builder gel is super strong and I love it. Nails turned out fab 🤩

I’ve got builder in a bottle recently and some of the other videos I’ve seen it just looked so complicated and intense idk why I’ve been overthinking the brush tip application 🙄😮‍💨🥰

So Cute and something different, I think if you do a slip layer first which you just paint the nail leave uncured then go in with your ball and swing side to side it helps fill the sides cause it like shows the gel were to go and wont go any further into the sides than your slip layer. Its hard to explain,xxx but love it great attempt.xx

I think you did an amazing job! The last few weeks l have started capping with silcare gel because I love the clarity and the filing is so much easier, more enjoyable even if I'm being honest, hated filing acrylic and this way l don't have to. Filing acrylic is like filing a rock after trying gel.

@@trucenax funny you should say that actually because a few nail techs l watch have started using base coat gel for everything even under acrylic, you tried it too I'm sure for a bad lifter or am l getting mixed up. Tabytha Scott does it in her videos. I might try if l have any lifting, usually the thumb and index since they get the most use. Thanks for replying x

You did a great job. Have u had any problems since. Theres been loads of bad reviews now about premier gel and the gel bottle. I'm an acrylic tech but I'm buying some of this tomorrow x

Hey could you give me tips when I do biab with tips they just break off but this length is quite long, idk what I’m doing wrong 😭😭😭

So...lots of gel systems have that heat reaction.. If you have a slow heat function on your lamp that can stop the burning. And with some systems your first thin layer protects the nails from feeling it. But...it's the one thing I don't like about gel. Great job though! I'm not as neat as that and I trained with it. 🤣

I have never felt it from the gel l use, silcare, then again I try not make it too thick. Felt the burn with others though.

@@patriciagallacher6741 I used to get it when I used The Edge products. Since switching to The Manicure Company some clients do, some don't. Working in thin layers seems to be better than one thicker. Low heat settings work well. As does holding hand just outside lamp and then easing in gradually. X

@@Skubie123 hope you don't mind me answering or tracy lou but the reason people turn gel upside down is to help the gel fill up the apex and pull away from the sides so you don't get bulky sides.
