Ritu had ground control but she has no submission attempts, a bit of ground and pound but also not effective. Top that off with getting gassed out and almost dropped it didn't look good for her. She needs to improve submissions and striking.

Ritu didn't dominate,her ground work didn't lead to any attempts to submit. She gassed out terribly in the last round. Bi didn't look like she was going submit anytime soon. Ritu also was lucky that one of those knees didn't connect with full force. She would've been KO'd. She looks like someone who can wrestle and looks for take downs, but her standing game is average.

Yep! Without the ground-n-pound, Ritu's ground finishing game is a little anemic in terms of being able to get her opponents to the submit point. Crash course on BJJ basics to Blue belt level at least. Perhaps even more low kick leg striking from Ritu. And stamina work too so she doesn't get gassed out so soon! Three rounds doesn't give much time to get it done. If you want to do MMA, you must up your game. You cannot gain and retain a belt with just wrestling skills being brought to the table.

Ritu didn't control the ground, she was inches away from getting a knee in the face, and she gassed out. Her boxing was rudimentary. If the ground game is her Forte she looked bloody average at it. No arm bar or even an attempt to choke. If she got one of those in then maybe she would've got more points. Anybody neutral and who knows anything can see she didn't deserve to win.

I am beginning to think that wrestling is the avoidance of fighting. I realize that it is necessary skill set, but it is boring when you don’t do anything once you get the takedown. Single leg, double leg, not that hard to defend against, and No attempt at submissions or anything. It had a nice run though. I am glad that B won this fight. I favor this rule set greatly over the UFC.

Why does some people think Ritu won? All she did were a bunch of takedowns and grappling while throwing in a few punches Bi was able to get herself out of a few of those grappling then came back punching, kicking, and dodging. Ritu focused too much on trying to find a opening so she could bring Bi down that she constantly gave Bi opportunities to get to her. Ritu also tired herself out trying to get Bi to stay down. Bi won this fairly.

They both got tired . Bi does NOT know much ground escapes.

This is what happens when you trains all your life. Phogat sisters are trained for it whole life, even her community promoted wrestling.

the judging criteria is completely different in ONE. stop crying. Ritu gassed out and didn't do long term effective GNP. didn't go for any submissions. didn't try to finish the fight. almost got dropped herself. go on back to UFC boy.

Yessaaaaa.... Come on Bi.. phogat score 2-3 takedown and stop.. but no damage on the ground.. then she was out of gas at the end of the second round (last 30 sec) and then in the 3° heavy.. Bi score a lot more with punch combination, knee and kicks + doing extremely well in defense.. close fight but right decision.. ps: Unbearable phogat that after a rather bleak performance he also thought he deserved to win.. that she really starts to evolve and that she finds a way to increase his striking because in these conditions she goes nowhere .. Bi & Stamp are the simple confirmation of this ..
