IKR, him and Kuai Liang being Sub Zero and Scorpion was a very welcome change. In no other timeline have we really gotten to explore Bi-Han's character pre-Nood Saibot or Mythologies, so it's cool to see that he did, in fact, have a darkness within him even before being reborn. It also makes the iconic rivalry more tragic as its now a between brothers that stand opposed to each other in actions and ideals.
