Making conclusions by judging player's performance in one match, are we?

I nostalgically remember those classic days. Indian fast bowling was best with babu bhuvi and bumrah and sometimes shami also. Indias spin attack was deadliest with kulcha kuldeep chahal and sometimes jadeja. Batting was superclassy with virat super destructive with rohit and Pant sometimes rahul also. Hardik and Jadeja gave best toch of fast and spin all-rounders. Dhoni was super vigilant behind stumps also playing best finishing knocks. Those were days (2017-2019) when if india lost any match we used to say this was just a bad luck otherwise opponent was no where in the game. Nowadays I just check scorecard but that was the time when I used to watch every ball because of the class in the game that indian side showed.

@user-jh8ej1sw9q right. I also think Dhoni might have come in early. May be at 2 or 3 down. If he had played 50(76) from that position, India would have been somewhere like 130/4 or something. Then pant, Hardik along with jadeja might have been able to push it at a faster rate. But hindsight is a beautiful thing 😊

Well , Jasprit Bumrah was much younger he had only experience of 2 Years in International Cricket , whereas Bhuvaneshwar Kumar was playing since 2013 !

I am not Indian but just imagine Bhuvi, Bumrah, and Shami in prime playing for India in a World Cup. They would have easily won any tornament, but it's all about time.
