There are many reasons to wake up in a bad mood. Firstly, if you have disturbed sleep (waking up 2-3 times during night time). Second is if you sleep late, ideally 10-11 is the right time to sleep if you have to wake up by 5:30 or 6. Third is stress and diet, if you have a bad stomach you will wake up in a bad mood. Lastly, the hormonal imbalance in our body. (try exercising and meditating). Therefore, a sound and undisturbed sleep is very important to wake up in a good mood. its called sleep cycle Bharti, you have to take naps according to sleep cycle. Basically 1 sleep cycle completes in 45mins and so on. So if you nap and wake up without finishing your sleep cycle, you feel more drowsy instead of feeling fresh. So may be take naps with alarm set for 45mins or 90mins.

Don't eat and immediately sleep in afternoon, it increases acidity and when you wake up you don't feel fresh and have headache.
