You make that look so easy. Did mine today and it was anything but easy. If I did as many of these as you, it would probably be a little less challenging. Thanks for the tutorial.

Update job completed. Used the .70 spring. Trigger smooth, great length of pull and reset. A bit disappointed as I thought the .70 spring was going to give me 5lbs or just under. The standard trigger minus mag safety was giving me 5.25 lbs +/- This new+spring is a constant 5.50 lbs. I should have used the .65 spring. I don’t think I will be changing it out for a while! This is no job for fat fingers!

Boy, just blow right by how to get that trigger spring roll pin in, LOL. That is the hardest part of installing the new trigger. Fortunately Amazon sells a set of roll pin starter punches for about $10 and free shipping. Interested see how they work out.

This is awesome information. If I reduce the spring weight for the sear lever does that increase risk with a type two lever if I also reduce over travel?

If your having the triggers custom made, why would you not put an over travel adjustment screw on both the front and rear?

Well the hemostat works fine getting the trigger pawl into place. The next problem is that the front of the spring is more substantial than the original. And although the trigger pawl was located where it is supposed to be it sprung out in the process of getting the spring fully located . I have put triggers in smith & wessons, ARs and glocks. This is a real challenge.

26:35 I’m stuck at this point. I have gotten the pawl placed several times but it will not swing forward because part of the frame is in the way. This is a 1965 FN Hi Power

I have a feg and I'm afraid I went too far on the trigger paw trimming it down. I watched this video got the slide on and trigger worked but my trigger wasn't resetting so I did what I seen on video and took more off the trigger paw. I did it little by little and checked my work by testing the slide and function but still no trigger reset so I took more off and now the trigger won't even fire now.

When it's installed, does the trigger return spring goes into the groove in the pin?

The trigger pin in my FEG hi power keeps moving out when fired and is easily pushed with my fingers both ways. Is there a solution?

Magnets should never be used on a firearm. The metal parts can get magnetized and collect small pieces of metal than lead to failures and malfunctions.
