Anil Srinivasan (piano), Supratik Das (vocals) Sikkil Gurucharan (vocals) Amaan Ali ( tabla), Arshad Khan ( Esraj).
Bhavani Dayani is a Bhairavi Bhajan in praise of the Mother Goddess. We are releasing this piece of music during Navaratri as our offering to the Goddess.
This track was recorded and filmed live on 9th of November 2012.
These great performers worked together to produce a class recording of ten great songs.
This work was done by Avinash Chordia the head of studio, Deepak Samson did the sound, Narinder Tawakley provided logistics support and Shankar was the studio technician.
These tracks were mixed and mastered by Deepak Samson to be published by Universal Music Group as Nokia Music Theatre.
Ananya Rane our head of films worked on this AV with Kevin Pereira assisted by Sameep Tawakley in November of 2012 , and together they brought this album to life.
This presentation is curated and produced by Sita Raina and Subroto Chattopadhyay and the team @ The Peninsula Studios.

Bhavani dayani really a master-piece presentation.Young artistes'well crafted renditions takes me back to stalwarts of yesteryears of Pandit Jasraj and Begum Parveen Sultana.
The Tamil composition begged for a Mridangam accompaniment. All in all a mind blowing performance.
Very soothing to the ears. The same song sung by smt. Parveen Sultana also gives complete bliss and joy. Ofcourse it is maa bhavani's effect. Maa durga bhavani should give everyone good health and relieve us from this corona mahamari.
Fantastically chosen, thus well crafted rendition. Every individual has left a mark of his own in this superb rendition. I am certainly looking forward to hearing more from them. Job well done I a must say. Thought and conception of this is really appreciable.

Can someone please translate the Tamil part in English, I don't understand all but it touches me so much... Tamil people's emotions are more similar to Eastern Indian Bengali, Odia and Assamese people's.

Like a young girl, clad in a lehenga saree Sri Durga is seated by the side of the pond in sivaganga(a town in tamilnadu.) Her form is like a lightning, mother Sivakami. Blesses all happiness and fill our thoughts with a plait and flowersin her she dances equal to lord siva This is a translation but not good enough to recreated the emotions of the song

It is not Babani. the correct pronunciation in Sanskrit is BhaVani.
Nice rendition but Anil, Is it too difficult to say "Mother Goddess" instead of 'feminine divine'!? She is Shri Adi Shakti, Param Mata! It's like saying feminine & masculine parent! 🤦
