Not one of the priests or pharisees expected the Savior of the world to be born in a manger and to live a simple life like the rest of us and finally die on a cross. Yes everyone believed the power to forgive was and is still God's, but they didn't fathom know that the King of Kings would forgive the sinner by shedding his precious blood and lay his life down on a mere two wooded cross where criminals and sinners were persecuted. Forgiveness my friend is what blossomed on this sinful worthless cross, which made the cross a symbol of Hope to the world thereafter. We notice how beautiful it is when a flower blossoms out on a tree, it is the exact same paradigm that was seen on a cross 2000 years prior.
Good news is, He rose from the dead and is living in and with us until the end of the world. No matter how sinful you have been all your life, Jesus still died for you, and is willing to forgive and cleanse you and use you for His glory. Just say..Forgive me Jesus..and you will be forgiven.
