These short stories have been penned down by Suresh Tiwari Yash and narrated by Satish Dehra.
In the twenty-eighth episode, we hear the story of how after returning to Ayodhya from his grandparent's home with Shatrughan, Bharat having listened to the news of what has transpired in his absence, cuts ties with his mother Mata Kaikeyi. Furthermore, Shatrughan in his anger was about to punish Manthara when Bharat came in and stopped his brother from taking any drastic measures. We then see Maharishi Vashisht insist Bharat take the throne as that was what King Dasharath had last decreed, even if it was due to a promise, it was something that would have to be heard, but Bharat disagreed with that, according to him, the throne belonged to his elder brother Lord Ram, and he decides to go to the forest alongside some of their subjects to convince Lord Ram to come back and take his rightful place as Ayodhya's ruler.
